Year round a beautiful site to visit and enjoy the beauty of the place!!! Very well conserved bridge, offers a perfect subject for a great picture as well as some history facts!
for people who are into such things it is a very nice covered bridge and I am told there are very few left in the USA like this.
We have been to over twenty covered bridges. This is is what we would expect to see of a bridge that is not still being used today. You can walk across it and if you enjoy seeking out covered bridges than worth the stop if in the area. It's a short walk from parking lot and can be seen from parking lot.
The bridge is nice and so is the park that it is located in. It is a small step into an older time when things were simplier. I have a picture of the bridge (that I took) hanging on my living room wall.
Its beautiful, i dont know what else to say about it ..... You have to see it to believe it !! You don't get to see things like this all the time ....... WOW !!!
This is one of the wood covered bridges that crossed the Chuyhoga river. I believe it is the last one left standing.
The Everett Covered Bridge is just another thing to see and do in the Cuyahoga National Forest. It's located not far from Hale Farm and Village. The area surrounding the bridge is a trailhead very popular as a bridal path, and you'll most likely see more people on horseback than on bikes. There is a very interesting area with a plaque nearby that explains the Seiberling family efforts to make the area a national park.Don't go out of your way, but if you're passing by on bike or car, make the small detour to visit this little part of the beautiful CVNP.
Step back in time to walk through a real covered bridge that was used regularly by cars when I was a child. Unfortunately a heavy truck drove over this bridge and broke it into the creek below, so it had to be rebuilt and restricted to pedestrian traffic only now. So enjoy the beautiful scenery and imagine a time of horse-drawn wagons going across this bridge - covered so the horse would not get scared of the water below!!
Definitely not as pretty in person as it is in pictures. Fortunately we did not drive out of our way to go here.
Located in Cuyahoga, this is a nice but somewhat steep trail that starts off though the covered bridge with vantage points of the bridge along a flat riverside trail. Hike the Perkins trail loop though the woods though for a nice woods hike in the park. Nice bridge and trail and also a scenic part of the park along the river.
