Every year local service clubs vie to get a room in the mansion to decorate. It is available to tour for free for one week, usually the from the first weekend in December thru the second weekend. Don't miss this!

If you are into Christmas, you gotta stop here! Rooms are holidat decorated and each one is unique! It is easy to tell that time and effort went into the displays. Don't miss it!!!!!

My sister and I took the tour of the manor house. It was very interesting to hear the story of the Stranahan family (Champion Spark Plugs). Amazing house and lovely park.

If you are in the Toledo area around Christmas, do not miss the Manor House in all it's Christmas decor! They do a fabulous job decorating every room in the Manor House. Don't miss this!

Love coming at Christmas. Everything is beautifully decorated. Each year is different. Volunteers are very friendly and helpful with any questions. Well organized and has an elevator for those who need it.Also a gift shop and food is close by.

The manor house is best seen during the Christmas season. However all summer they have music in the park. Trails for all ages. Inside they have Teas with enteraiment. and lunches. Call to get the dates for these events

This house is spectacular. I don't know if I was more impressed with the grounds or the house. I can't wait to go back for the extended tour which is offered in the winter. They offer teas there if you live close by.

Although you are welcome to wander through on your own, we found the guide informative and interesting. We found it a little confusing trying to figure out how to walk from the restrooms (in the former stables) to the Manor. It sounded as though we had to take the path through the woods, when all we really had to do was go to the end of the parking lot!

Have been to the Manor house several times and its always a pleasure. However,my wife and I found out that they actually do behind the scenes tours where you get to see every room in the entire house. It was about a 3 hour tour if I recall correctly and it seems to me it was about an $8.00 charge and worth every penny. I would definitely do it again. They only take tours a couple times a month, ( I think ) but if interested in that you can contact the park for more info. Highly recomend to take the time for a visit !

I hadn't been to the Manor House for several years and it was a treat to go back. They are already dressed up for Christmas. It is elegant and reminds us of how formal Christmas used to be. If you have young children they might be better staying outside on the hiking trails or in one of the child friendly parks. There is so much to touch and break. The grounds are beautiful and if you visit in the summer there are often concerts on the grass in front of the house. These are very informal and most people bike to the concerts.

This house is worth visiting any time of year, but particularly at Christmas time. :-) The only advantage in warm months is you can also walk through the lovely garden in bloom.Take yourself back to yesteryear, Meander from room to room among book lined walls, wood carvings like they don't make anymore, furniture and furnishings of such a quality to rival anything in Better Homes and Gardens. Christmas brings with it beautiful, classic decorations. Maybe you will get some decorating ideas! Fireplaces are lit and warm lighting beckons. Come to the Manor House this Christmas. You won't be sorry.

We truly love this place. We have been there twice now & from now on it is a yearly family Christmas tradition for us. Going to this mansion is truly like stepping back into history, we enjoy everything about it. So tastefully & beautifully decorated every Christmas by various groups/organizations in the Toledo Area, every year is a new treat to see! Really gets us in the "Christmas" spirit. Cannot wait to go back!

every year the manor house is beautifully decorated for christmas. the manor house exists inside one of the area's metroparks. take a brisk walk on one of several marked paths and take a break in the manor house!

My favorite time to visit the Manor House is during the holidays. If you can visit while they have tours in December, I recommend you do that. It's very pretty with all the Christmas decor.

Beautiful Home and grounds. See how the wealthy lived in Toledo area. Many Rooms with fireplaces. Beautiful old home.
