firehouse art center

Firehouse has great sandwiches and they do not skim on the meat. I also really like their salads. They are always fresh and tasty. I do think the smoky meat smell is a little overwhelming when you walk in. I prefer to eat on the patio.

Our son loves their art classes and they offer many new opportunities each season. There is something for all ages.

I was the only customer in the center but couldn't seem to get help. The art is good, prices I found seemed good. I did want to purchase but left as I had a meeting to attend. Maybe next time.

I loved looking at the art made by the children. The gift store offers unique pieces of art for sale; from seals to blown glass.

These days with so little art that is funded publicly, the Firehouse is still one of Norman's cultural institutions. Classes and workshops for the young and old, a changing exhibition gallery, and a shop offering all kinds of beautifully crafted items make this an important art center in the middle of Norman. The Firehouse also participates in the 2nd Friday circuit.

Modest in size but a diverse collection of nicely priced art

Art Classes offered are quite fun and educational. All four of my children have taken classes and LOVED them! Their artwork adorns our home. They have carried their knowledge and skills in several mediums on to be a "PART" of each of their lives!
