for any OU fan, this is a must stop and see. Plenty of memorabilia to be amazed by. highly recommend if you like OU sports at all.

Very interesting history of Oklahoma football accomplishments. If you are lucky, you will run into a coach or athlete.

Loved seeing all the exhibits, old uniforms, and Sooner trophies! Don't visit on a game day, it is closed. We came back Sunday morning after game day. The staff was friendly and knew their Sooner history, they were happy to talk!

Went to OU-Baylor with friends. Switzer Center is a great shrine to OU football. A must do if you're an OU fan or college football fan in general (like me and my friends).

Lots of great places to take pictures, pictures appear to be allowed inside. Many statues of famous players outside.

I can't believe I went to OU for 4 years and graduated 4 years ago and just got around to checking this out! What a cool place to go to learn about the history of football at OU. I recommend going the Sunday after the game- you'll have the place all to yourself!

Great place to check out the history of OU football. Biographies of the greats that have graced the field beyond its walls. Tons of memorabilia, championship trophies, bowl trophies, Heisman trophies, etc.

If you want to know the history of OKLAHOMA FB, take this tour ..... you won't be disappointed! Fortunately we were guided by none other than Coach Merv Johnson who is Mr. History.

Step back in time with a huge collection of Sooner photos and memorabilia. Brings back memories of the Selmon Brothers, Joe Washington, Steve Owens and the many great players that were students years ago. A powerful jolt down memory lane reminds you of recent National Championships and bowl games!

But be sure to check the days and hours of operation very carefully. I have stopped by a number of times when I assumed it would be open only to find it closed. It has unusual days and hours of operation. It's really cool the few times I have made it inside, though! I wish they would make it more readily accessible.

This was great for the Sooner diehards that we are! Made extra special by the fact that Coach Merv Johnson was our tour guide. This place is just great to see all the Sooner trophies and other memories. A must see!!

You'll find out a lot about the traditions and sports figures at the University of Oklahoma. Great place to visit.

First, check the OU Athletics Department's official site at SoonerSports.com for hours of operation (http://www.soonersports.com/facilities/legends-lobby.html). The Switzer Center is closed on football game days so that the coaches can take recruits through. The memorabila, videos and photos are incredible and this is truly heaven for any Sooner fan (or college football fan for that matter). Parking is available in the parking deck on the west side of the stadium (Switzer Center is located on the SE corner). You can walk through the south end zone of the stadium during the day (follow the students).

The admission is free and it's three floors filled with University of Oklahoma football history! If you're a Sooner fan, you can't go wrong with a visit to this place. Get a parking pass at the visitors center on Parrington Oval and spend some time walking around campus afterward your visit soaking in the atmosphere. The Campus Corner area on Boyd Street is also a nearby must see!
