When I was visiting the Columbia River Gorge, I stopped at Guy Talbot State Park. Guy Webster Talbot and his family used this property as a summer estate during the 1920s. Now it is a very pretty picnic park. There are nice trees here that includes cedars, Douglas firs, alders, and maples.
