cliff creek winery

I am a cab/merlot girl, & this winery was recommended by another winery when I voiced that Pinot noir wasn't as exciting...he tasting room on first street in Newberg, Or. Is the site of an old bank. The sever was very nice, serving snacks even to the people in our party that weren't drinking! They had mini apple pie and gluten free crackers! I bought a case & took advantAge of "Oregon wine flies free", saving almost $75.00!! I would highly recommend this place!

We were on the Roam the Rogue wine tour on Saturday May 25th. This winery was so much fun. Greeted warmly when we arrived, wine was good with a fair tasting pour. Scenery was lovely, enjoyed their dog and the yard game that was provided. Not the fanciest of the tasting room but one of the best for atmosphere. We enjoyed it so much we stayed for an extra glass of wine. Very friendly. Unfortunately our tour was not all like that, some wineries barely colored the bottom of the glass for our tastes and one actually acted as if we were an inconvenience. (Hello, we paid $30 for our tickets.) Cliff Creek helped make it worth while.

Friendly staff and a nice backyard farm winery. Wines are estate grown and not to bad on price. Like all wine i will let you use your one taste buds to decide how good.
