A sweet natural spot. There is a freshness here that really is special. East parking and a few picnic tables round it out.

If you're camping - no trains, no freeway traffic noise, no in town noise - warm showers. Great Place.

Tucker Park is a great place to camp - no trains as with some other local campgrounds and very quiet overall. The best sites are right along the Hood River - more expensive at $25 per night but compare that to a hotel! Only 5 miles from Hood River and great windsurfing and kiteboardiing.Great pizza at Solstice along the waterfront - wood oven - try the cherry, goat cheese if cherriies are in season! Checked solo but went with adult son.

We have never camped out at Tucker, but whenever we visit, we begin to dream of one of their parking spots overlooking the river. You can walk right out to the water and some spots (complete with barbecue pits) are right on the shoreline. Heaven in Hood River.

Stumbled upon this little park while out for a drive. There are a couple of shelters with grills. Right on the river. There were a couple of different groups using the park. One family was putting up a volleyball net and setting up for a birthday party. There is a campgroundfurtber in, but we don't camp, so didn't check it out. Definitely going to plan a picnic this summer.
