It was cloudy and overcast when we first arrived but started to clear a bit before we left. Definitely worth the trip if it is clear but if it is foggy, it isn't.
This is a great spot for visitors and locals alike. The spring blossoms are wonderful, a whole valley of blooming fruit trees !This is also a great place to start a bike ride on East side road!
Recommend going to this park to have a great view point of both mountains - Hood (south) and Adams (north).Look for signs to park on Hwy 35 just south outside Hood River
This is an easily accessible small park that provides incredible view of Hood River Valley - farms, wineries, mountains... Absolutely worth the stop! There is a picnic table and bathrooms. It can very hot during sunny summer day.
Stopped here based on the Chamber of Commerce's Tourism Office recommendation. Good place for an amazing view before starting the Fruit Loop. We were only there about 15". Picnic tables, bathrooms and plenty of parking. Add it to your list.
We stopped at Panorama Point at the beginning of the Fruit Loop, first thing in the morning. The view of Mount Hood from here is positively lovely. There are also picnic tables and bathrooms, making it a good road trip stop for anyone. I would love to see Mt. Hood from here at sunrise and sunset.
After taking the Mt Hood scenic loop, this was a fun stop with a good view of the mountain. There were picnic tables and bathrooms.
The view of the Hood River Valley and Mt hood are always spectacular and a must see from this easy to reach vantage point. Beautiful anytime of year, and the sunsets are spectacular. Come here for a picnic and take it in. No shade here, so skip during the heat of the day.
This is a great place to stop if you're visiting the Hood River area for the 1st time. Amazing views of the entire valley, and Mt. Hood, and the Columbia River, etc., etc.
If you want to take that perfect panorama picture of the valley, especially during blossom festival, go there! Stop by Juanitas factory and Rasmussen farms!
It's surprising there is just one review about this point. The park is right by the highway 35 on the way to mt hood. The view is stunning. You can see the farms. The whole valley and even mt hood. Highly recommended.
Panorama Point off Eastside Rd in Hood River is a great place to see the entire valley with Mt. Hood as the backdrop. This place is particularly special when the Pears and Apples are in bloom in late April and in the fall when the leaves are turning. A little further south on Eastside Road there are iconic photos available of a red barn with Mt. Hood as the backdrop and other surprises for those that are fans of tulips!
