pendleton center for the arts

Enjoyed the First Draft series at the Pendleton Center for the arts. Enjoy listening to the poetry written by our local people, some young and some older. the music before they begin is always good too.

The venue was quaint, personal, cozy and family friendly. Dance floor was a little small, but worked well for this group.

They have created a wonderful environment for not only art but for the budding artists with lots of learning programs many of which are free and they are especially supportive of the young artists with free camps and classes year round...amazing people!

As a local who volunteers at the Art Center this review might seem prejudiced. However it is well worth a stop for visitors. The old Carnegie Library building that was restored for the Art Center is a treat to view. Exhibits change about every 6 weeks and feature local artists and Northwest artists. The gift shop has hand crafted works from the region
