chockstone climbing guides

My brother and I went climbing for the first time ever, and we were lucky enough to have Chockstone, in particular Jim, as our guide. Jim was extremely professional, easy to get along with, a great teacher, and most of all, he was very patient with both of us and our inexperience. I will definitely be going back to this great company, and I recommend them to anyone looking for a fun, safe and exciting adventure! Thanks again Jim!

Got a really good deal for sour days worth of climbing in Smith Rock. I came from a background of only gym climbing and the guides were AMAZING!!! the entire time i felt safe and protected but yet they managed to push me so i can grow in my climbing skills. The second day out I led my first route and also did my first multipitch. The amount of experience and skill I gleamed from this trip was unimaginable. Not only did they take care of us on the rocks but they also cooked and cleaned for us. I didn't have to lift a finger which while camping was a new concept for me. i would highly recommend you try these guys out wither for a multi-day adventure or just for a single day to get to know smith better. the amount of knowledge and expertise they bring to the table is incredible.
