illahe studios and gallery

Seems like the only times I visit Illahe is First Friday, but it's always worth it - great exhibits, nice wine and nibbles, all your friends!

A few years ago I wandered in after seeing a painting in the window that I liked. It was sold, but I found another that now graces the wall of my dining room. The choice of art is always interesting, and I like to go back to see what's on display. I must say that the staff was extremely helpful with the sale and shipping.

Interesting and eclectic variety of art. Their present display was not my cup of tea unfortunately. But everything was displayed well but was not enticed by anything....

Gallery spaces (three) are large, airy, and spacious. The shows range from traditional to cutting edge. The adjacent art department building also has a display space.

Glass sculptures that command you to interact with them...to reveal aspects beyond your first impression. High end product. All welcome to a nicely spaced gallery without pressure to buy. Out of my price range, but wonderful to experience!

This is a very interesting, eclectic studio in a great location at 4th and B Streets in Ashland, Oregon. The one block of 4th between A and B Streets has a fabulous restaurant, an interesting coffee house, an antique store and other little shops. Continue on down A Street for more shopping.
