Every Christmas now for 3 years the variety and quality of art sold improves. Fine art made by locals/regional artists to craft/gifts are all available in December. The gallery is full this time year like a bazaar. Monthly exhibitions are always on tap for nice visit. They sell most art the rest of the year also from paintings, prints, photos, cards, glass, pottery and more. Next door to Virgin Valley Museum...check that out too. Just about hour will do but very well worth it.

We had a great visit, staff is friendly, Our teen enjoyed seeing art from local artists. Will be going again, on our way home.

The Mesquite Fine Arts Gallery and Gift Shop is a pleasant surprise to people who are visiting or just passing through town. The gallery is filled with paintings, pottery, sculpture and jewelry. Monthly themed exhibits give it a different look each month. The gallery hosts an "Artist of the Month" champagne reception with ribbon and cash awards honoring "First Place," "Honorable Mentions, Sponsor's Choice, and People's Choice." It's a wonderful event and FREE to the public. All artwork can be purchased and the gift shop has a wonderful selection of items perfect for gift giving. The gallery holds a monthly "Brown Bag" lecture with guest speakers - fabulous topics and speakers from near and far. If you are visiting for a longer period of time, you might even want to take art classes held on-site. Stop by and visit - You will be delighted.

Great selection from local artists! Could have bought a ton! Wonderful monthly displays - and sometimes the artist is right there! Paintings, ceramics, glass, jewelry! Would be great for Christmas shopping!Right in the middle of twin - the building is loveley and they have an amphitheater for special events and a classroom for learning new art forms.Bought a great piece of wood and a wonderful cowgirl hanging for a friend. Very helpful staff! Could have stayed all afternoon!

The work of local artists (paintings, sculptures and jewelry) is featured in two rooms. We were delighted by both the range of styles and the talent of the artists. We were advised that exhibitions change monthly.The woman operating the gallery at the time of our visit was wonderful: pleasant and extremely helpful in providing information with respect to the works and artists that we enjoyed.If and when we return to Mesquite we will certainly return to the Gallery.

Who knew!? I was traveling through Mesquite, Nevada and had a day to kill on a recent trip. I saw ads for the "Fine Arts Center" and decided to stop in. what a lovely surprise! The weekend's event was - poems submitted by local poets and art pieces inspried by the poems exhibited together! First the gallery in and of itself is a wonderful venue - beautiful with great graphics and excellent exhibits. The gallery had three rooms to choose from:-The wonderful poetry and art exhibit - I could have bought several of the paintings - just terrific and what a great and creative idea! -The second was a special display by the artist of the month - I did purchase one of the glass pieces - very creative and reaonabley priced! -And finally the small gift shop with a combinations of paintings, glass and pottery and jewelry - really love the eye glass holders - bought three!It was a pure delight and the folks there are all local artists and volunteers - and so helpful and firendly - don't miss this hidden treasure!
