Impressive size when viewed from the large parking lot. Newly expanded and had high hopes of what they could have done with the place. Sadly, most exhibits were rehashed versions of things I knew were there 20-30 years ago. Seemed halfway done in areas--frames pictures sitting on the floor, even a painting resting on the floor--really left impression no one is trying to make it presentable. Items were in amateur settings reminiscent of places decades ago. Poorly protected and some sections a hodge-podge. Very disappointed in military section. Fair amount of material but no interpretation.Several vintage outbuildings were closed. Not sure when they are available for viewing.Research room was a mess--not careful presentation for a local archives.
