This place is very interesting. The tour that they have set up is well done. I also was impressed with how they have kept everything in tact. It is a quiet gem.

Seeing the name of Kregel Windmill Factory Museum on the Nebraska City website is one of the major reasons my husband and I visited the town. We'd never heard of a windmill museum, and we love to find unique things. Their brochure advertises that everything in the museum looks as if the workers just walked out to get lunch, and it really does. One of my favorite things was seeing how the workmen used everyday items, such as a long row of little coffee jars, to store things. Coffee cans, discarded boxes, jars, etc. - if it was hanging around, someone found something to store in it. That, in itself, was a trip back in history. There are lots of clever interactive displays, and the man who was the guide was very knowledgeable. It was a fun and interesting museum, and I would highly recommend it.

I took my grandson here for a trip through history. Museum is interactive so that it was very informational. My grandson enjoyed the experience .
