the national pony express monument

We walked over to this "National Monument" from Cabellas - with anticipation, as we love the history and knowledge that can be found in memorials and monuments -- only to be majorly disappointed! There is very little information about the Pony Express given at this monument. The amount of information can be read in less than 5 minutes. Nothing about the actual station that was near Sidney, nothing about the history, the distance, the riders... nothing! So very disappointed in this "National Monument"! More information needs to be included here before it is worth the stop! We enjoyed watching the snow geese in the pond across the street more than the memorial itself!The reason for the Poor review rather than Terrible -- I guess somebody made an effort to make the "park"
