We visited this winery at Christmas while visiting family for the holidays. We are very passionate about wine, certainly not experts but travel the world to visit wine regions and belong to several clubs and collect wine. This is a beautiful property and we visited on a Sunday when they had live music. There are so many things this winery does well, and a few ways they could improve the experience for new or repeat visitors. The wines were better than we expected (we prefer big, bold, red wines) but changes could be made that would improve the overall experience and really make this a must see if you are in the Lincoln or Omaha area. Typically when a wine is poured in a tasting room you get an explanation of the wine - the varietal, growing process, the vintage, the barrel process, the nose, or more - but these details were not shared about any wine. There were 6 of us and we each did the 5 tastes for $6 dollars, so we tried a lot of the wines. It appeared that the staff were really just bar/wait staff rather than being passionate about wine and the process of making wine. They offer a selection of bread/crackers/cheeses which is a great touch, and I love the live music - great touch. We will definitely be going back but I hope to interact more with the folks that run this winery next time, one of the 2 gals pouring wines barely spoke to anyone in the tasting room. There is real opportunity for Soaring Wings to stand out among the other Nebraska/Kansas wineries but really focusing on the experience and what makes their wines special. Can't wait to visit again!

My husband and I love this winery. We stop by frequently and purchase wines. They do tend to cater more to the sweet palette.

Soaring Wings was recommended to us, and as we pulled up on the 4th of July it was busy. Hmmm, must be something to the recommendations. Nice view. Friendly tasting room service courtesy of the winemaker's wife. Wines were so-so, however. Not one made much of an impression, and the syrah, a wine difficult to grow in the Midwest, was marginal.

Our pre-wedding family meet and greet was a great success because we held it at Soaring Wings Vineyard. The staff was helpful, the beer and wine excellent, and the view of the surrounding countryside unsurpassed and photo worthy. There was plenty of space for the kids to play on the lawn, and we loved having the outside deck option. Pull down screens located in key positions kept the sun from getting too hot without obscuring that marvelous view. This location would also be ideal for a wedding or just sitting and enjoying a glass of their excellent beer or wine on a sunny afternoon.

We love going here on the weekends. Close to the metro area and feels like it's far enough away for a getaway. We take our friends here often times and they seem to really like it, too.

Soaring Wings Winery is a relatively small vineyard, with one main building that serves as their winery and tasting room. They do have a nice party room in the back for functions, and a large covered outdoor porch with nice views of the vineyards and surrounding area. The staff is wonderfully friendly, and the prices for tasting are very reasonable. If you find yourself in the area, Soaring Wings is worth a stop-by for a break and refreshments.

Decent wines...just not a great place for a afternoon. Need more things going on, and some good things to munch on with your wine.

Soaring Wings is a great place to go with some friends to relax and catch up. In addition to having wine, they also brew their own beer. Most Friday nights and Sundays they have live music. The food selection is limited- cheese and meat trays, I believe- but it's still a great place!

You will love Soaring Wings. Music, wonderful wine, and a great view. The wine is awesome too! The owners go above and beyond to make each experience fantastic.

Nice tasting room with some good wines and beers. Great to stop by for a tasting or for an evening with friends at one of their events.

The view was gorgeous. The wines are not very good. We like dry red wines. If you like sweet wines, this may be the place for you.

Did some wine tasting and relaxing on their deck recently. I wasn't overly impressed with the wines and the view was pretty but at the end of the day I don't think I'll be going back. We were there in the afternoon, so perhaps their concert nights are better. However, the staff was friendly and you can tell they try hard to keep the place looking great.

This is located in Springfield NE but an easy drive from Omaha. We find their concerts enjoyable and relaxing. Try their wines and just relay and enjoy the night.

Soaring Wings had a great live performance the night we were there. Sounds like this happens most Friday nights during the summer. We got the $5 wine sampler which included a few wine samples and a complimentary wine glass. Great way to try a few wines for a cheap price. Looking forward to going back!

We tried Soaring Wings for one of their Friday concerts in the summer. The vineyard spreads out around the tasting room building and the concert venue, and makes for a beautiful Nebraska landscape. Having never tried their wines, we did the tasting and found we prefer their sweeter selections over the drier ones. We have heard this is pretty common with other friends who have visited here. Relaxing, friendly, and a great summer memory!
