I have fished jessranch for 17 yrs and the new staff young inexperienced kids are ruining this lake, the young kid that rides around on the cart blamed me with no proof at all for telling somebody that they couldnt fish somewere two weeks ago,so young kid should get your facts straight before blaming someone who has fished at the place that pays you for longer than you've been alive please bring jim and teresa back until jess ranch changes this I will spend my money some place else and recommend you do the same before its 25$ to deal wth inexperienced little kids thanks j ocull

We showed up empty handed and they provided everything! We rented poles, and they provided nets and a bucket for free. Each of my boys caught a fish (2) within a half hour of being there. First bite was just a few minutes from when we started. The staff have excellent customer service skills and they really make you feel appreciated as a customer. Prices were very fair, can't imagine another place that would have provided this much fun for what I paid here.

I love this place! Excellent fishing here! You will come home, with good tasting trout!!!! Jess Ranch has several lakes to fish on, depending on your fishing experience. It is also a trout fish hatchery, they stock there own lakes, as well as other lakes in So. California too, such as Green Valley Lake, in the San Bernardino mountains. The main lakes has a variety of other fish to catch, such as catfish, trout, and bluegill. I prefer to fish at the Angler's pond, as that is very fun to cast your pole, and the fish hits your bait, very quickly! I saw other fisherman catching fish on the main lakes also.The grounds are very nice, well kept, and plenty of shade, during the hot summer. The lady at the main entrance gate, is very sweet, nice, and friendly. The staff near the Angler's pond are also very nice people too. They will provide you free use of a plastic bucket, as well as a net, for your catch. They also offer good tips on fishing, the right size hooks, bait, etc. Best bait is Powerbait, and worms. The trout seems to attack the worms the hardest, but they still snack on the powerbait also. You will catch trout here!!!!! I see parents bring their kids here, they seem to be having a blast, catching the fish also.The trout tastes very good! The staff will also gut your fish, at $1 per fish, and place them in a bag, with plenty of ice, for you to take home. I've been telling my friends and coworkers about this place, I'm happy to have found Jess Ranch Lakes, it is a great fishing experience here!!!!
