I'm not an outlet kind of person, but we get a lot of visitors, some driving over 100 miles to shop here in Camarillo. There are a lot of different shops here, with easy freeway access, a large theatre, many places to eat, and a short drive away on the other side of the freeway the rest of the city is available.Don't forget that we now have a trolly car that hits all the major shopping centers. Keep an eye out for it and you can travel from one center to another - no charge that I'm aware of - and then back to you car. Saves gas, pollution, and stress of driving.

There are 3 parts to the outlet. The newest part has the new restaurants so you probably want to be over there about meal time. I would drive as it is a very long walk from the back part of the center to the new stores. There is a Subway and a pretzel place and ice cream in the back section of the outlet mall and a candy store and food court in the middle section if you would rather eat there instead. If you know the retail prices ahead of time you will be able to determine if the prices being asked are good deals. Some stores like Talbots is completely outlet clothes while other stores have outlet clothes and clothes from their retail stores as well.

This place is overwhelmingly big. You definitely need all day to look at most of the stores. Good variety of restaurants. I will definitely return.

I went with my wife and daughter wondering what the hell was I going to do wile they had fun shopping. But (!) the place is so BIG, shops of all kinds that I had a lot of fun with them. One day is NOT enough, two is good. Some shops have the same price of shopping, but some have bargains. Go to Camarillo if thinking about shopping.

This place is excellent - I've visited the Desert Hills Premium Outlet centre in the US, the Tanger outlet centre in Barstow, the Bicester Village here in the UK, and many others, and the Camarillo Premium Outlet centre is the best of the lot, in terms of the quality of the brands and the prices on offer. The first thing to know about outlet centres is that they're something of a con - the majority of clothes that you find in outlet centres, for instance, are never for sale in the normal stores of any brand but are instead produced cheaply in export processing zones in the far east and are sold exclusively in outlet centres. But hey, if you're happy with what you've bought, that's fine. Anyway, that aside, there are some really nice bargains to be had here - I picked up some really nice cases in the Oakley store, and some ties and shorts in the DKNY store.Anyway, for the range that's on offer and the quality of the stores here, you can't beat Camarillo. Stop by on your way up the coast and you won't be disappointed.

We decided to go to the Camarillo Premium Outlets on our trip to the LA area in December. The outlets are spaced over three very large sections/parking lots. The stores are all open facing into the parking lots.We parked in one area and walked to the other lots. We were expecting lots of traffic and people on December 23rd, but the mall was not full. We stopped at the Jockey and Disney store. Bot of the stores were very well stocked, but the sales were not that "spectacular". Overall it was good to shop at stores that we do not have in our part of Canada. But would I do the drive to get here again, probably not.

There is not a lot to save regularly at big stores but on children's clothes I bought things at 3 dollars. Best Swarovski shop: got one of those USB for ten bucks. Check it out for gifts it is amazing. Hate those promotions that require buying 2 to get one free etc. you will see lots of those. The Disneystore could use more bargains but overall OK. Best bet for end of season sale at coach or Michael Kors. You can get 50% off what already has 30% less. Good luck and don't forget to check out Neimann Marcus shoes: some fantastic shoes live there.

A nice and big outlet. Very good shopping with a nice variety of stores. The usual junk-food restaurants and amble parking.

I was very disappointed with our visit to these outlets. We allowed a couple of hours for shopping but I was completely unimpressed within the first half an hour and was ready, and waiting to leave before our shopping time was complete. I feel that these stores claim to have specials and bargains but really, they have a few items on sale (as any other store in the world) and the rest is regular pricing of regular stock. Sales staff in all of the stores we went to were actually the only unpleasant and unhappy people we came across in our holiday. I had more fun at In-N-Out nearby.

This outlet has some good stores, but it is spread across two blocks, so you need to do some navigating to get to where you want to be.

We visited the outlets in Camarillo on Black Friday. Boy was it packed with people! But unlike most malls, this is an Outlet mall with 3 separate buildings to shop...and park! First off, there were traffic control by mall security. Nice, get the flow going in an orderly fashion. Next, shops were expecting the crowd so there was organization in the mall common areas instead of just a horde of people trying to get into the popular stores. Lastly, since attendance was at its peak, the deals were many and price well. Shopping there meant like you really got a good bargain. I always look forward to shopping here.

We did some serious shopping here during our US trip. Hats off especially to ladies at For All Mankind outlet here. They were magnificent and totally relaxed when their POS went down. My purchase of 5 pairs of jeans was not able to conduct the transaction and their supervisor/manager simply offered a manual transaction using my credit card! That is what you call service.. Kudos to all the people at For All ManKind. The rest of outlets were also incredible and we loved this outlet compared to others we went..

The Outlets are made up of 3 sections. The original mall (I'll call it phase 1) is to the east and faces Ventura Blvd. Behind it, across Camarillo Center Drive, is phase 2. Phase 3 is west of phase 1 on Ventura Blvd on the far side of the Edwards Theater. If you are from out of the area and plan to spend the day, you can either park at each section as you go, or just walk the whole way. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes as it is huge and quite far from one section to the next. If you come in December, parking can be horrible and even getting in from the freeway can be very backed up. The main access is from Ventura Blvd. between the Carmen and Las Posas exits. As a less busy alternate, I recommend taking the Las Posas exit from the 101, continue on Las Posas past Ventura Blvd., and turn left at the next street, which is Camarillo Center Drive. Most people don't know about this road and there is much less traffic this way. You can also park at the Camarillo Train Station and then take the trolley to the mall. There are some great deals to be found at the mall but you do need to be careful. Some of the stores are true outlets and you can find good prices. I just picked up some J Crew shirts for my son- they were $65 each on-line but I got them for $15 each here. Stores where we have seen good deals are Fossil, Robert Wayne, Nike, Adidas, Timberland, Chicos, Merrell, Clark's, and some of the clothing stores in section 3. Levi's seems overpriced- I can always get better prices at Macy's or Kohls w/ coupons. Some of the stores are discounted because their merchandise is special purchase for the outlets and their regular stores don't carry it. Just be aware that not all of the stores are true outlets and watch the quality and prices. Food options were limited until recently but they have just added a new food park in phase 3. There is now a Smashburger, Chipoltle, Pick Up Stix, Pizza Rev and Yogurtland in addition to Panera Bread and a few others. There is an In n Out down the street near the Carmen exit, and a few more down at Las Posas near Target. For those who need a break, the Edwards Theater sits in the middle of the Outlets. If you come from out of the area, plan a full day here, arrive early before it gets busy, and wear comfortable clothes. Also, this place is a huge tourist attraction, with buses actually bringing tours in. As a result, there are pickpockets looking for easy marks. Don't leave packages unattended and guard your purse or wallet. There are plenty of police both in cars and on bikes, but it does get crazy during the holidays!!!
