I ice skated one morning during the weekend. Fewer people were present then, so I had more space to move.

I watched the early pre Gretsky - era Kings practice here. I'm amazed the place is still here. Hasn't changed a bit. Not too many sheets of ice in and around Los Angeles so get here and enjoy while you can.

I have been to this rink since I was in grade school about 9 years old, and boy do I love it! It's so much fun and extremely child friendly! Although a bag of small chips may be more than what you bargained for let alone a cup of soda or a water bottle, if you go well eaten that won't be a problem. Aside from all that, a fun ice skating adventure can never go wrong especially in this gigantic rink! Have fun and be safe tourists!

...after decades of being the place to learn to skate and socialize, esp. for the early teens.I took my daughter when she was 12 or so, had to leave her off at the corner so no one would see she had a parent, a very un-cool thing at the time, and now she is 38 with 2 kids, my grand kids!Wow.Kind of run down and well used but great memories for many.Progress......I think not!

Mimichiang

The only ice skating rink that is open year round on west side of Los Angeles. Extensive hours, group lessons, privates. well maintained ice conditions. Skate rentals.

This is a fantastic place for anyone to learn how to iceskates. I have two kids enrolled here, and after a few lessons both my children know how to ice skates. It is close to home.

It is little rundown and old, but for a local ice rink, it is great. The prices are not too high, and you can get in for a fun afternoon. The ice is not cleaned enough, but this is free skate, so what can you expect.

The Culver Ice Rink is in a bit of a time warp. I really enjoy it but I am biased, as I remember having birthday parties here when I was a kid; my younger brother was on the hockey team starting as a Pee Wee; and I have held my own kid's birthday parties here. It is a small community ice rink with a little warm area for food and drink and bleachers for parents and tired kids to rest. The Toyota rink in El Segundo is definitely newer, brighter, bigger (several rinks to skate on, a second floor for tired people or nonskaters) and more modern but for a neighborhood friendly accessible skating rink this one can't be beat.

This historic site is great if you like to figure skate, skate for exercise or play broom hockey. It is not a tourist attraction, even though it has a history steeped in the Olympics and professional hockey.

I have not Ice skated in many years, and on my last visit i went to visit my old stumping grounds and it was the same as it was 30 years ago, some changes to the structure and decor, but it is still a great family place to take your children for a great time or simply to go see a free Hockey game.

This place is great for skating. It is a little on the pricey side compared to other ice skating rinks. I have to say that the Toyota Center Ice Skating place is much nicer and larger, but a little further away for me to travel.

This ice rink is OLD. Everything about it could use a face lift, from the bathroom facilities to the snack bar. It's an okay place to go and have fun, there are kids there who are serious skaters and they practice before school everyday. In the summer, it could get very crowed because it is a popular field trip for summer programs. Prices are okay, the group classes are very reasonable and include admission for additional practice outside of class time.

Fun for kids and family ...good way to spend a winter day ...ice could be a little better groomed.

I'm not gonna lie to you, this place is pretty old and not that pretty. But it's very nice as in they have a place for you to rent ur skates and a little snack place to drink a nice cup of cocoa. I"m actually a local in the area so I grew up with this place. THose people looking for a nice skating area might not like this but it's definately the nearest one in the culver city area. THere's benches for those who don't want to skate and if you don't know how to skate, i believe there are classes you can take. Well i guess if you just want to skate, you can come here but if you want to go to a nice modern place than you might wanna try some where else. personally i like the old fashioness of it.

I went to this Ice Rink a couple of weeks ago. It was the first one I'd ever been to, so I can't really compare it to other ice rinks. They had a warm-up room and a small place to eat. Birthday rooms were upstairs (which I thought was not a good idea since the kids will want to eat and skate again, they'll have to keep going back and forth up the stairs). I don't know how it is at other rinks, but for the first half of time, they only had one person on the ice to help people when they fell. But the staff was great, they were really nice and I had lots of fun.
