pete's restaurant & brewhouse

This eating place was formerly occupied by Pizza Antica and is in the far left hand corner of the Quarry Ponds shopping center on Douglas Blvd., way behind Peet's Coffee which is on the street. It's a very lively spot and they have a friendly and well trained staff to take care of you. Also in warm weather there's an excellent patio that overlooks the large pond in the back of the center. Mostly pizza and hamburgers, there's also a full bar area next door reached through a door to the right of the front door of the restaurant once you're inside.Last time there our server was Alexa, and she did a fine job. We had diet cokes ($2.79), the All American Hamburger ($9.99), and the Cobb Salad with ranch dressing ($10.99). The food is very high quality. Although we didn't have it on this visit, the pizza is excellent and very generously spread with topping ingredients. The Quarry Ponds retail environment seems to be going through a rough period, the Market Hall spots are mostly empty spaces with For Lease signs. Hawks Restaurant is, however, consistently rated the #1 restaurant in the area and if you can afford it, is certainly preferable to Pete's! But for a casual meal and a good service experience, Pete's is hard to beat. We go there about once a month and have never had a bad meal, so we recommend it highly.

A year ago I would not of written a good review about Petes, because I went there with a friend and had dinner and was charged a forced gratuity, for two people, not eight? But there food and pizza is great, along with the burgers and a fun place to watch the games!

I have only been there for pizza.... but it was a fresh dough pie with generous toppings.Nice brew selection and wine list.Staff were helpful and efficient without hovering. Nice decor and full of people on a Thursday night. Prices were average- but the pizza was above average. Nice sit down place to chat with friends and have a reasonably priced quality meal.

This is a jumpin Pete's with a variety of brewhouse fresh beers on tap[they have wine, too]. The pizza is pretty standard and solid , but the brews and the pub atmosphere make for a fun and inexpensive night out.

Pete's has evolved into at least three personalities: - Family (but nice) pizza restaurant, - pleasant neighborhood bar, and - patio casual dining spot.When the weather is cooperating, I love to visit Pete's for the patio. It is definitely quieter than inside (the glass walls & polished concrete floor reflect sound inside), and the quarry pond environment is immersive. I've been a few times with my wife, my Mother, my brother & with friends. I typically enjoy a glass of wine there in the afternoon sunshine. And yes, the pizza is quite good.This is one of my local favorites!
