granite bay beach

A lot of different beaches and the largest of all of Folsom Lake! Also probably one of cleanest fresh water lakes clarity wise in all of California, yes I have been to most! And you can walk in for free!Only negative and not pertain to Folsom Lake is that the California State Parks system has raised the year pass to all parks from $95 to $200?? thanks to the morons running our state!

Granite Bay is the best place to launch a boat at Folsom Lake, just take Douglas Blvd. to the east and it dead ends into the entrance of the State Park. Entry fees are modest considering the fun to be had on the other side of the entrance. As you drive through you'll see the boat ramp area on the right, with room for perhaps 200 boat and trailer combos. Keep going and you'll get to the beach parking lot, where there's a concession stand and a large bay inlet where boats are not allowed. Great place for kids to spend the day.

We love this place. Sometimes we meet up with friends to cookout and swim all day . There's even a boat that comes around with ice ctream and snacks!

Well, it's not the ocean, but you won't care! This beach has it all. It's beautiful, there's a snack bar, there's no glass on the beach, it's safe famiiy fun with paddle board and kayak rentals. It's also one of the most beautiful runs in the area.

Located close to Folsom, Granite Bay, and surrounding areas. Great central location with lots of parking and access to having a great day walking, running, hiking, biking, or horseback riding on the trails.
