We were very impressed with the turn out of spectators and event participants. Make did an excellent job coordinating additional parking in surrounding areas and bussing everyone to the event. That was very much appreciated! This was out first maker faire and next time we go we will definitely take our kids because there are were so many activities they would have really enjoyed it- but we were in CA for business. Excellent event!

So much to see!! activities to participate in! great for kids!! I wish they would add another day so it wouldn't be so crowded. sometimes you can hardly walk through the crowds.

The Maker Faire is one of the best events I ever attended. attractions for kids and parents.amicable/efficient staff and volunteers. make sure to add it to your schedule

Really enjoyed my visit to the Maker Faire. Despite parking mayhem, the crowds were manageable and well dispersed throughout the exhibition grounds. The exhibits were fascinating and there was a good amount of home-grown / home-made items on display. My only disappointment was that the organizers give the event a very strong corporate touch - which really takes away from the spirit of the event - the two do not fit well together. This is heightened by the one zone where you basically shop for all the components to make stuff like what you saw - consumerism at its sliest. Fortunately, it's the artistic ingenuity that wins the day.
