The staff is very friendly and quite knowledgeable and enjoyable to talk with. The wine is very nice, some very tasty Pinot Noir wines.

While wine appreciation is subjective, we're disappointed someone who says they don't drink the two varietals we were pouring would 'review' them - and no mention of the customer experience or atmosphere. This is a lovely tasting room with very interesting 3-D enhanced art on the walls and wine labels. Delightful and unique local wines...especially Frenchies Ranch Syrah. Choice of 2 tasting menus ($10 each). Tom was friendly and very knowledgeable about not only Big Basin Wines but many other local winemakers. Be sure to admire the pattern of the redwood fronting the bar. It came from trees on the vineyard.
