vacaville museum

Visited the museum, but an art exhibit was on display so did not see any history. BUT the staff was wonderful and followed up with me regarding some interests I have in the area. They went above and beyond! Hours: Wednesday through Sunday, 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

...the Vacaville Museum is a nice stop after a walk through the historic part of town. A book shop has items to provide additional information about Vacaville and the surrounding area.

The best part was I found pictures of my Grandparents. My Granddaughter is home schooled and we took a field trip and there in pictures was my Grandparents. Wonderful surprise.

This is a very small local museum with very well done exhibits. Certainly worth a visit but not somewhere you can fill an afternoon.

Small, limited hours and really not much to write home about...it is important to the locals, but how many REALLY are interested in Vacaville history of onions and tomatoes?

This is a nice little museum to visit. It is near the downtown business area in Vacaville.
