I have been coming here and watching my friends as a kid growing up here. It is such a wonderful place to watch the local talent and the weather is beautiful.

We have attended shows here for many years. The outdoor amphitheatre is great, acoustics are good and they put on excellent performances.

I hear it from so many people - I couldn't believe that was tucked away in Vista. The shows are exceptional, very high quality. The atmosphere is great - an evening under the stars, enjoying a picnic dinner with friends, enjoying a show! You can purchase wine and beer there, but don't bring it in. It's guaranteed to please.

Sorry Vista, but this may be your only great attraction. I've discovered this great outdoor theater and have loved it! bring some wine and a picnic to munch on while viewing a great production!

This is a wonderful venue. Great place to enjoy a picnic and a show. The shows are spectacular, with awesome actors & actresses. Musicals are the best around. A must do if you can!

This is a wonderful way to spend a summer evening. Plays are very professional. Staff is helpful and considerate. Bring your own dinner or buy it there.We have attended for over 15 years and never been disappointed.Shuttles provided from parking area.Evening air can get chilly.

The Moonlight amphitheatre is a delightful venue for anyone who loves musical theater. The tickets themselves are reasonably priced, and it also features an upscale café which is not so reasonably priced. However, you can bring your own dinner and picnic there.

Moonlight Amphitheatre is a wonderful venue. Being an avid theater-goer, I can unequivocally testify that their productions are of superior quality. The venue is comfortably sized, friendly, and lovely. One does, of course, have to be prepared for a variety of temperatures in an open-air setting from steamy some nights to chilly on others. The actors, singers, dancers and orchestra are top-notch. Directors innovate making even oft-seen productions feel fresh. The sets are unbelievably good. Parking is free and generally easy. (Don’t arrive too late.) One can picnic, pick up some food at a food stand, or dine at the restaurant. (A bit pricey for what one receives, but relaxing, tasty food, and convenient.) The only negative is location: great for locals, but a tough drive from LA or San Diego area. Worth it, however? Absolutely.

I am so happy that an awesome, high class entertainment venue is located here in north county. Moonlight is a great place to see a show, preferably a play but anything really. I have to mark it down a tiny bit just due to the crappy parking. Make sure you arrive early! The whole venue is clean, beautiful and has good sound quality. All the seats have a nice view. If you have lawn tickets don't fret, they supply you with a lawn chair for free. The food is delicious but you can no longer bring in your own booze. It's Ok though, they have very reasonable prices on drinks. Great place for friends, family, a date, anything.

1st time at the moonlight amphitheatre - took my daughter to see Spamalot. Relaxed atmosphere, picnic dinners, lawn and reserved seating all along with an outstanding performance! Definitely will check to see what is playing there next time we visit the San Diego area.

Beautiful amphitheater with updated stage, lighting and sound system. Excellent casts in entertaining musicals. Picnic in or outside of the theater or buy your meal there. Reasonable prices and excellent venue for the whole family.

Fun and relaxed evening with friends...family or just a couple for a great night.You can bring your own dinner to save a little $$ or enjoy a very nice meal served at venue...either way is fun!

A wonderfully updated venue with professional performances. They serve alcohol and food. I miss the old days when you could bring your own wine and food inside but everything changes with improvements.

Very relaxing atmosphere with a great audio experience and a lot of fun for a family outing. Very appropriate for all ages and safe, even though it is just on the out skirts of the hood. It is a diamond in the rough.

This place is a hidden jewel! We went and saw the production of "The Who - Tommy" and loved the seating and everything about this outdoor theatre. The stage is large, new and in excellent condition and the acoustic were great for outdoors. We are looking forward to going to another show at this venue. Highly recommend this venue to others.
