sutter bike trail

It is beautiful this time of year. It is along an old train track the backs up against farmland, orchards and homes. Nice fresh air and beautiful view of the Sutter Buttes.

The trail is paved for easy walking and bicycling. The path itself is where the old rail road track used to run. It's a nice walk in the country, and seems to be safe.

If you love biking in the country without traffic, this is the place to go. It starts in a residential area off of Hooper Road in Yuba City but ends up in Sutter with spectacular views of the Sutter Buttes along the way. It's appoximately 5 miles one way.

This is an enjoyable and pretty easy ride that is mostly flat. It is around 8 miles long and after you ride it a few times there are options to mix the scenery up to keep you from getting board.

Nice fairly long ride, about 8 miles. Ride is mainly flat so not very difficult, but it's a good two hour ride. After several dozen times the ride gets a little boring, but none the less it's a nice clean and family friendly ride to help get me in shape.
