redwood canyon trail

These may not be the oldest, nor the largest, redwoods you'll see in the park, this trail definitely has the highest concentration of redwoods out of all the trails I had the opportunity to hike. Definitely check it out, and you can see the entire life cycle of the giant sequoia. Maybe you'll even see a few saplings here and there.

Wir sind im Sequoia gewesen und auf dem Weg raus über den Kings Canyon gefahren. Fast wären wir an dem doch versteckten "Eingang", der nur ein Schild für Wanderer trägt, vorbeigefahren. Man kann - allerdings nur im Sommer - eine Offroader Strecke über 2 Meilen nur bergab fahren. Unten angekommen gibt es einen Parkplatz und gigantische Redwoods - also besonders hohe Bäume bewundern. Lohnt sich!!!
