three affiliated tribes museum

We visited on a Saturday. You'd think they'd be open on a Saturday. The North Dakota tourist magazine said they were open daily. They were closed and it appeared they have been closed for some time. Weeds galore, trash all around and an ancient RV in the parking lot with signs stating "No Overnight Parking".If you are coming her to gamble, it may be worth the trip. But, otherwise this place is a dump.

While the collections are not large, they give a good idea of the life of the people. The most valuable resource is the staff. If you get the Native American staff members talking they are actually a living museum and you will be richly rewarded.
