Always very friendly and willing to let you try anything they sell. Our favorite is fresh Ladysmith and Queso Fresco. Cheese isn't cheap but it is very good!

We were driving past and saw the sign for cheese tasting so decided to stop and are so glad we did. The fresh Ladysmith cheese was delicious. They had several varieties available, and also gouda and cheddar. YUM!!!

We drove up, waited a minute for another group to leave the tiny tasting shop, and went in and enjoyed a taste of about 5 different cheeses. One of them was their signature fresh cheese that had come out of the cow that morning!!! Like a cross between a ricotta and a mozzarella. We purchased a pound of that and a pound of their Gouda for $30. That was a nice snack to have for the rest of our trip. It's just a few minutes east of Chuckanut drive on the Bow Hill Road. Don't miss it!Oh, and it's organic and grass fed--what could be better.

Sammish Bay is a very small local cheese maker with quality products. The prices were reasonable, and the cheeses were excellent. The love they put into it shows. It is a 30 minute stopover with no tours available, but this keeps the prices low and the charm high.

What a great find! Was extremely impressed with the organic home grown quality of this farm's products. Call ahead to see what is in stock because it is in high demand. Very very good stuff! Local owned and cared for, as you will witness when you visit. Nice people! Sample it all and prepare to take home as much as you can carry. Sounds to good to be true, but this one is good!

I stop here every chance I get, the cheese selection is great. The cheese is delicious and my biggest problem is deciding what to take home. If you're around Bow or Chukanut Drive, don't miss this place.

Just East of the Hwy. 11 and Bow Hill Rd. junction, Samish Bay Cheese has a treasure trove of organic goodies in their cheese room. Friendly and savvy worker let us sample several cheeses. We tried (and liked!) Ladysmith farmer style cheese, and the Herb Gouda was excellent! Also for sale, organic meats and pure lard for cooking (think ultra-flaky pie crusts). Glad we brought the ice chest! The buildings are plain looking, white farm buildings. You'll be happy you stopped! Open from 11am to 4 pm. Mon.-Fri., and opens at 12 noon Sat. and Sun..
