The Weyerhaeuser Aquatic Center is a well-designed venue for top-level competitive swimming. The interior climate is well-controlled and comfortable. The standard bleachers can make for a long day of sitting, however, so don't forget your stadium chairs!

If you're looking for a good long-course pool in the northwest, this is it. Yes, it's indoors, but maintained very well.

We visited the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way Washington for the Western Zones Championship Swim meet in August 2014. This Aquatic center has an 8 lane, 50 meter course pool with Omega touch pads at both ends. The facility has plenty of seating on bleachers all around the pool. Parking is a little limited for big events but a great facility!
