Course has great views in the mountains, is very difficult for greater than 20 HCP. Greens are slick and 3 or 4 putts are distinctly possible. Price was over $250/person. We enjoyed the course and pace of play was under 4 hours.

Beautiful area- so different from the ocean area we live in. Peaceful, lush- just gorgeous! Will definitely be back!

Golf course on the mountain? With all of the slopes and contours of hilly terrain? Well, it's accomplished in full amid this lovely, lovely location. Was invited as a guest the day before a son's wedding. At the outset it involved one of those fast moving mountain rain storms; beautiful in its intensity. Then lovely sunshine and cool air. The views are wonderful as it includes Grandfather Mountain from a variety of perspectives, lovely fairways, impeccable greens, and delightful streams criss-crossing the property and cart paths. The amenities are all there. If you love golf, or even as a ride along, this is one you won't want to miss.

Best Golf course in the area. Very challenging with fabulous views. Would highly recommend playing this course.

My grandparents owned a house at GG&CC and, I'm so glad that they raised me and gave me the opportunity to grow up at GG&CC! I had the absolute best times of my life there! I learned to play golf, fish,conoe,play tennis,I even learned to ride my bike there too !!! I'm 27 now and, my sweet Grandfather was called several years back to be with the Lord.My grandmother now resides in the southern pines/pine hurst area. She sold the house unfortunately and , I've not been back in several years now.I'd love to go back and visit with my two children one day.

Best golf course in North Carolina! Course condition is as good as any place in the country. Don't miss a chance to play this awesome track!

my grandmother has a house there. the course goes right by most of the houses and there is a lake in the summer. i believe there are some houses for rent. there are many places to bike for the non golfers. also the wildlife rescue zoo is up the ways along with the swinging bridge. my cousins and i go up about every summer our ages are 5-40! we love it! sorry no pictures.
