adventure landing

I can remember when it was originally Celebration Station, and it was a legitimately fun place. Since then, it was Zuma fun center and now Adventure Landing. We went because my wife had found a coupon for 70 tokens for $10, and thought it would be a cheap way to get out of the house and have a little afternoon fun. First off, the arcade is just in sad shape. There's not much there, and we had skew all machines, air hockey and other games eat our tokens on many occasions. Plenty of the games were just not working properly and needed maintenance. The prizes at the prize counter were all really sad, and while I wasn't expecting anything good, this place was just sadder than you'd expect. After about 20 minutes I couldn't wait to get rid of the tokens so we could be done. Barely any of the machines took 1 token to play. Many were 2, and a lot were 4. I really thought Adventure Landing taking over would make this place better, but if anything, it's as sad as ever. I'd avoid.

My husband and I only played miniature golf here since it became Adventure Landing. We really liked it. The inside looked like you would expect at a miniature golf place at a vacation destination. I would recommend it!

This was previously Zooma, a place I could take my young grandchildren to play mini golf and a few arcade games by myself. I always considered it a bit run down. Now it is Adventure Landing with a spruced up mini golf that was really fun and even a bit challenging for a 10, 13 and 2 seniors. Fortunately, there are quite a fee shady holes, a necessity in a southern summer. We went during the day when it was not crowded. After mini golf, we opted for go-carts. There was about 15 minute wait for a camp group in front of us. The ride is well supervised. Actually when our family got on, it was a very strict woman who emphasized no bumping so much that our concerns not to bump took away from enjoying the ride. We chose not to play arcade games to leave for lunch. This place is not cheap. Each section has a fee. I had some coupons which helped. A family of four would probably need to spend $50 to do a lot. Save it for a special treat or just go for mini golf. The staff is rather cranky which is pretty typical for places with arcades. The noise must get to them. We actually had a very good time which is sometimes difficult to do with a 13 year old.

The facility rivals Chuck E. Cheese's. There were lots of video games. Many required more than one token. We did not eat at the facility. Everything was over-priced. Bottled water was over $2. A hotdog was over $3. The food was not attractively presented so, I didn't believe that the price could be justified. My son enjoyed the go-karts and video games. Again, the ride was a bit over-priced but, expected.

We love Adventure Landing, and not just because we won free min-golf for the year, but they provide excellent entertainment at a great price! If you are interested in having a birthday party, you need to consider Adventure Landing and doing it on a week night during the summer. Last night we saw a small group of boys there, and it was like they had the whole place to themselves! I don't think they have singing bears or anything like that, but for older kids they have at least three outdoor attractions. They also have specials all the time! If you live in the Pineville area, they are a must on your do to do list. Ready for some fun at a great price?

Well this was our first ever Family reunion we had 5 under 8yo and at least 30 teenagers that had really been very good the entire weekend but they needed to get out and get away for some fun! Thanks to Adventure Landing for being open on Easter Sunday! We will be back!

Every other game had something wrong with it. It either took your tokens and would not work or would let you play and win tickets, but would not dispense them. The staff was helpful to correct this, but it was annoying having to ask for help every other game.
