I went to the Railcats last game. I really enjoyed myself, I have never been before. They have food venders and even though it was hot that day, it is very comfortable under the dome, lots of air flowing. I will definitely go again.

I'm not a big baseball fan, but going to these games with the kids is nice. Free parking and the security is great, and is a cheap night of fun. Way better than going to see any of the Chicago teams.

I have been to see the Railcats many times. It is always a good time the park is clean, security is good, the food is good and reasonable prices for all of it.

These guys play some ball, real exciting for the kids. Activities get everyone involved and the atmosphere is great! The food is a bit pricey but that's to be expected.

It is a small ballpark, every seat in the house is good! So, you are close to the action on the field. Prices are reasonable. It's a good place for kids, and you can relax and enjoy a minor league baseball game.

This downtown ballpark is very family friendly. All season long the Railcats have promotions and giveaways for both children and adults. Between innings, onfield and seating area games are played to keep the fans involved. Consessions are priced so that you won't go broke keeping hunger and thirst away. Team fan gear is available for sale in the Railcats Store By the way, parking is plentiful and free.

The Steelyard baseball park in Gary is a real gem. I've been to many Gary RailCats minor league baseball games at the Steelyard. The stadium is easy to find and parking is free. Game tickets are inexpensive. It beats the heck out of fighting Chicago traffic and parking to attend a Cubs or Sox game. I've been to both daytime and evening games. The ballpark is very clean and there are plenty of bathroom facilities. There's also a decent variety of concessions, though the concessions are pricey. The Steelyard is family friendly and has a very fun atmosphere, In between some of the innings they have games and relay races for children out on the field. Gary RailCats games are fun for all ages. The park is beautiful, and there's not a bad seat in the house. It's truly a gem.

Wonderful place to spend an afternoon watching baseball. Great place to take the kids, enough activities to keep them happy.

The Steel Yard is a very nice stadium. Inexpensive tickets, free parking, good food and drinks, and the team plays hard all the time. Maybe Cub management and players should take note?

We attend 10 games a season . Short drive to the ball park , free parking . Al ways great entertainment between innings. Also good baseball by players who are playing for the love of baseball. Not the big money . Also have to have Ben's soft pretzel . Lines are always long . Also the tickets are a great price .

Enjoyable place for families to share a day of baseball.Safe and clean and just fun. Even in you don't love baseball,it is still a great place to visit.

One of my son's friends was diagnosed with a life threatening illness and I contacted the Railcats about donating some tickets for his benefit. They were not only kind but EXTREMELY generous. Thank you for caring!

attending a railcats game is a must for us every year. We often attend several games a year. This ball park is great, rusty the railcat provides entertainment, the staff involve the crowd throughout the game. Prices are comparable to other ball parks, which ball park food is always overpriced. If you do attend a railcats game you must try Ben's pretzel they are worth every bit of the money and made fresh, best pretzels around. The taco stand is also real good, but would choose a Ben's pretzel over anything at the ball park. Love the entertainment, and the game. This is great night or day out, with many giveaways and promos.

Our family has been attending Railcats' games for years and we love it. The concessions are not quite major league prices, the mascots are fun, lots of activities for the kids during the game/between innings, tickets and suites are cheap. Numerous promotional games during the season, "Thirsty Thursday" and "Fireworks Friday" are a couple of my favorites. Free parking too.
