historic trails park

The park is located in a small tree-covered spot along the Little Blue River. There are informative plaques on the important transportation corridors that ran through the area and a full-size ferry replica (which my kids thought was great). The park is somewhat difficult to get to, as you have to drive south out of Marysville on US77 and then loop all the way back around the southwest part of town on a gravel road to get there. It's a nice place for a picnic.

Have a replica of the ferry used to cross the Big Blue-if your into the Oregon Trail and Santa Fe Trail history its very interesting.
