Strong Falls in Goodman County Park is delightful, and the picnic area immediately surrounding the falls is lovely. However, you should limit your visit to that. My fiance and I saw a sign that said "walking path" and thought it would just be a short loop around the falls. 30 minutes later, covered with insect bites (despite having used copious bug spray), we were dumped onto an unmarked forest or fire road as we had lost the trail markers. We are not novice hikers and had not experienced anything like this before. A couple in a Jeep drove by and pointed us in the direction of where we had parked but said we were miles away. We had to go through dense forest and had walked for at least an hour before the Jeep had circled back and the couple offered to drive us back to our car. When they had picked us up, we were still 3 miles away from the car. The lack of trail markings lead to a potentially dangerous situation, particularly with the burgeoning insect population. I still recommend visiting the falls themselves, but limit your visit to that alone.
