12 foot falls county park

One of many nice Marinette county falls. It's not the biggest or the most interesting. You do have to drive a fair distance on gravel roads to get here. It would be a good idea to have a good map of the area when going to this falls. When we visited recently the bugs were quite bad. 8 foot falls is located near by. My favorite falls are located in the Pembine/ Amberg area (Dave's, Longslide, and Smalley's Falls). Also make sure to visit Piers Gorge located on the Wisconsin/ Michigan border near Norway and Iron Mountain. Pier's Gorge has actual whitewater rafting. My favorite of the remotely located Marinette County waterfall parks is McClintock Rapids. Remember that there is a $3 day use fee for these parks.

12 Foot Falls County Park is home to 12 Foot Falls and 8 Foot Falls. Its namesake waterfall looks lovely from a distance and is very easy to see, but the disadvantage is that you are at a distance. There is a $3.00 park fee associated.
