A wonderful golfing experience in Minocqua, Wi. A former private club open to the public. The course layout is very challenging and putting is a challenge. Wonderful staff to assist you. Five tee boxes from short for youngsters, ladies and the elderly. A wonderful restaurant on site, Chef Rene's serving lunch and dinner.

Timber Ridge is an excellent golf course in the great Northwoods of Wisconsin. The condition of the course was outstanding and we had a wonderful afternoon.The pro shop could have been more friendly to the customers, and they need to invest in rental clubs, but assuming you are aren't their for the service or clubs this place is top flight.The on the course rangers and beverage people were exceptional.

Many of my family members live/used to live here in the TimberRidge Community. In fact, as your last reviewer stated correctly, the picture featured is one of a group of four one/two-story condominiums (and this one was once owned by my aunt/uncle-their condo on hole #8). Imagine my surprise when I first saw this!! As we speak, these condos are being improved with brand new siding and gutters so the neighborhood residents are intent on constantly improving their properties. There are also private homes w/in this large, sprawling and wooded area. Many of the homes are quite large and all are a bit different from each other. It is a very beautiful community and the golf course is the jewel! It once was a private golf course but it is now public and during the summer the golfers are abundant. The course is well-groomed and has many challenging fairways. The club house/pool and golf course are located about five-minutes off the main highway by way of a winding, blacktopped road bordered by pines and hardwoods that meanders through some lovely residential areas. Look carefully and you can occasionally spot wild turkey; eagles, deer and porcupine within this forested acreage. If you haven't golfed TimberRidge, you need to give it a try! You won't be disappointed!

The picture shown here is of a townhouse on hole 8, NOT the golf course pro shop! It should be changed. Timber Ridge Golf Course is a challenging, beautiful course kept in excellent condition. Chances are you will see deer on the course. A restaurant/ bar is available for golf course patrons and nongolfers alike. Special rates are available in the afternoons. Premier golf course in northern Wisconsin!

This is a fun course for golfers of all skill levels. There are some fun holes and some very challenging holes. The golf course was also in pretty good condition

This course is a lot flatter than the ones we are used to playing, however, we really enjoyed the challenging holes. We would definitely play this course again.

This former private course "south of the bridge" in Minocqua is in excellent shape! Greens rolling true & fast, fairways & rough green, lush , not too thick , consistent sand- superb layout !Make a T Time on line & save $15Beware the Leagues tho , that slows down play

Timber Ridge used to be private years ago, but is now public. It is a beautiful and challenging course. I try and play there 4 or 5 times a year.

For over 15 years our family has played our annual "Bill and Louise Family Outing" in Northern Wisconsin. We've played elsewhere in the past, but highly recommend playing at Timber Ridge for their value, service and great track. From start to finish Kalynn (Assistant Pro) and team (check in, starter, ground crew, rangers, beverage cart and servers) hospitality made us feel welcome and as invited guests. It's great to see in today's world of cutbacks and reduced services that Timber Ridge went the extra mile to provide exceptional personal service for all 27 of us. Our plan is to continue playing our outing there every year.As far as the course goes, as much as no one likes to lay up when they golf, don't be afraid to lay up on those doglegs for clear shots to the greens.
