northwoods zip line

I did the tour multiple times last summer with my family and all I can say is we cant wait to get up to the North woods and do it again. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and knew just how to handle everything from kids to a hesitant grandmother. Looking forward to the dual race zip this year.

The crew at Northwoods Zip line is awesome! They explain how the equipment works and gives everyone a personal demonstration so everyone knows what exactly to do. You need no prior zip experience. The course is great and has more runs that other zip line courses in the midwest. My wife and I had completed a zip line course in Idaho and the Northwoods scenery is every bit as stunning. This is the only zip line that I am aware of that operates year round. I would love to zip in the winter!!

Best zip line experience I have ever had! I felt sake with the new equipment, and had a great view of the Wisconsin wilderness.

My nine year old son and I went this past summer. We loved the opportunity to hang out together. The guides were wonderful, and we had a great time. It was our first zip-line experience. Hope to go back!

never before in my life had i experienced that many ziplines. i dont want to spoil to much but my favorite part was the 900 foot zipline over a lake. the first time i went with my friends i didnt know what to expect. i definetly walked away from the experience satisfied.

My family of 8 made a weekend celebration up in Minocqua and Zip Linning at Northwoods Zip Line was the main event. We were there celebrating 2 birthdays and a retirement. We had so much fun. Some of the group had gone zip linning in the past, but it was just a short one line zip line and you were done. This was a canopy tour, with bridges, zip lines and beautiful scenery. Our two guides were fun and energetic. We will definitely be back!!

What a blast! My wife and I went in snowy late November. She's not big on heights, but Andrew and Melissa (our guides) did an excellent job easing her mind and she had a great time, enough that she wants to go back...we definitely will! Thanks Andrew and Melissa. You two made a great time even better!

Wow....what fun! Amazing experience. Fabulous guides...safety is foremost. Guides make it THAT much more fun! Have a question about the Northwoods...ask! They very knowledgeable about the area. The zips/bridges are challenging but definitely doable...even for beginners. Great care is shown in explaining all that will happen....no need for fear! Went with a group and had a blast. Once we were done and back on the ground it felt like we had been in a different world for the past couple hours. Safe, yet funny guides.

Took my son and nephew and had a blast. Staff was great - everything as good as advertised. You will not be disappointed.

At first I was a little nervousness because I had never done a zip line before. I wish there was a better word than "awesome" to describe this experience. The guides were most courteous with safety their number one priority. They were also friendly and entertaining. Guy and Jason were my guides. The feeling of soaring through the forest was very peaceful. This was even better than I had hoped for. Just do it.

Northwood Zip Line was so much fun. I went with a group of people from work and we had so much fun! The people there are so much fun to work with. You can tell they enjoy their job and are able to make everyone feel comfortable! Can't wait to try it again:)

Great family outing- seems expensive but took the whole afternoon and we all enjoyed it. The views are great-layout is amazing! Staff was so friendly and educated us about trees, layout, all kinds of things. When it wasn't warm enough for anything else, this was definitely a winner and the highlight of our trip!

I live in Minocqua and was a little weary when I heard there was going to be zip lining in Minocqua. Heard over the summer a lot of people going and said they loved it. So we had to check it out! And turns out my misconception was demolished within minutes of arriving!! Truly a world class trip. My only other time zip lining was in Jamaica and this is very much on par with that. Totally coming back again with more friends and family! Thank you Goose and Dub for being awesome guides!

For our 34th wedding anniversary my husband and I went zip lining for the first time. (a bucket list sort of thing). We chose a new zip line business in Minocqua, WI. We experienced approximately 9 zips and 6 rope bridges spending most of the time up in the trees. The last zip was over a beautiful lake! Our guides were helpful, friendly and knowledgable. We were anchored at all times to cables so I never felt unsafe. They also provide a mini zip to give people who are unsure a sense of what they will experience. Cost was $100/person. Since this is a new business I can only imagine that it can only get better since they shared with us some of their plans for the future. Go and enjoy!
