chatty belle

Stopped in on our way to Wabasha, MN. The giant talking cow was kind of neat but it was cold outside, -5, so I didn't want to listen that long. Cheese selection inside was rather poor; most of it was from the cheese factory we had just stopped at. Learning about the worlds fair was interesting.

I've driven past many times and then decided to stop to use the restroom. The little ones got a kick out of the cow and we learned a bit about the 1965 world fair. It's actually pretty interesting and the memorabilia downstairs inside the building is really neat. The restroom was clean and smelled good. Much less traffic than a highway rest stop. I'll be using the facilities there from now on!

The prices in the store were great. We bought cheese, and it was from different companies. There were kinds I never heard of. We had samples and then we bought a lot of cheese,

Chatty Belle is an ok place to visit. But it is a talking cow that you have to put a quarter in to hear. They got rid of the calf. I have stopped there a couple of times to see the radio station and listened to Chatty Belle.

Really ? A big plastic cow with a tape recorded message. Ok to stop for a bathroom break I suppose but don't go out of your way or you will feel really silly.
