Neshota park features lots of shaded grass picnic areas, baseball/softball, and horseshoe facilities--not to mention a long and deep groomed sand beach. The beach comes alive on 4th of July and also during the annual Kites over Lake Michigan weekend. But it's also wonderful at other times (even for a nighttime stroll). Sometimes I like to get a fresh pastry from Jerry's Bakery and park at the beach to enjoy my breakfast watching the birds, the lake & sky, and the joggers, bikers, and dog walkers. Very peaceful.The park also sits between the Rawley Point trail North into Point Beach State Forest and the Mariner's Trail South along Memorial Drive to Manitowoc. When returning from either ride I love to stop in the park and enjoy the lake breeze.Neshota Park really is a gem hidden in plain sight--and freely available to the public. Highly recommended!

Neshotah Park beach was wonderful. Lots of parking, big sandy beach with volleyball nets, accessible from a lovely bike trail. Wow!

I just happened to stumble on this free, open-to-the-public, Lake Michigan beach. Two blocks long, raked for seaweed, plenty of parking, bathrooms, walking/biking trail. I don't know why Two Rivers wants to keep this a secret. Back in Chicago, we would have to pay $25 to park and then walk a mile to enjoy the beach (or get there before the sun comes up to get a parking spot in the lot) (or take a train and 3 buses) I'm almost reluctant to share this gem! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the concession stand was closed.
