Please take the time to tour this brewery. We had a great tour guide who was very insightful. The brewery is very clean and if you are lucky, you will be able to meet the brew master and sample a beer right out of the unit tank. Everyone was very friendly and have a passion for beer. You will not be disappointed stopping in this place!
Very sadly, because I love breweries especially breweries in Wisconsin, I must give this place my first "terrible" rating ever. I worked with Vanessa ahead of time to bring a group to the brewery; unfortunately she made promises to get me to book and then did not deliver close to the time (even though I confirmed with her multiple times. I was left no time to make other arrangements, so we still went there. Note: I did not tell the group about my troubles ahead of time as to give them the best possible experience. It was pretty empty when we arrived (3 couples and our larger group). A Badger football game was on, but the volume wasn't. Once of the couples said they had asked a couple times for the volume to be turned on but they hadn't gotten around to it. They did eventually turn it on for us. The bartenders seemed to be new, which is fine, one of them (male) told us he "didn't know what he was doing." Not something people who love beer and breweries want to hear. Nothing for the non-beer drinkers to consume except for really sweet bad wine coolers, but they wouldn't let us bring in anything else. The beer was mediocre; some in the group thought it was fine, but most said "meh." I guess they have a lovely outdoor area, but we were there in the dark thus did not see it. We had planned to stay for hours, but after just a few our group packed up and went to another establishment that welcomed us with open arms and we ended the night on a better note! I hope your experience is better than ours was :(
What great new builing and location in Verona, WI! There is a wonderful outdoor and indoor seating area, big screen TV for games and overall a great atmosphere. However they do not have have any gluten free options beer or otherwise. They said gluten free beer is on their list for the future.
Nice location to sit and relax with a beer at the end of the day. Or meet some friends to chat and play a game.
I signed up online the day before for the 1pm Sunday tour. Little did I know that it would be a private tour as I turned out to be the only one to show up! Jessica is a very personable and knowledgeable docent as she showed me around the modest brewing facility. The brewery only opened up to the public in March 2014. She gave me several free samples before and after the tour. I highly recommend the Zenith, the closest thing they have to a hefeweizen. Excellent beer.
This craft brewery is exceptional. We spent a recent autumn afternoon in the outdoor beer garden enjoying a couple of truly outstanding beers. If you enjoy craft beers, it is well worth a visit.
The beer is great, the seating options are many, and the events are plenty. My pick of today was drinking the Bleeding Heart and sitting outside on the adirondack chairs watching the sun go down. They do not offer food, but you can have food delivered or bring it in yourself. I'm looking forward to visiting when they have a band playing.
The beer is excellent, especially the porter. The tour was very informative. We learned about how the brewery came to be, the equipment used, processes and even went into their cooler. My children were very entertained during the whole tour.
Very nice, clean brewery. Brand new stainless steel. Corporate decor to encourage functions. Simple, uncomplicated and clean. $4.50 for a glass and $6 for a flight of four. Excellent craft beer. Free tours, we were there on a Saturday and everything was very laid back. Beer Garden outside is very nice - peaceful view of Wisconsin countryside. Layout is very open. Small gift shop a little more pricey but very tasteful mostly made in the USA. You can order your own food for delivery or bring your own. You can also bring your dog to the beer garden outside! If you get a chance, do stop here. I don't like going to bars so going to a craft brewery (in the afternoon!!) that gives tours and has both an outdoor and indoor beer garden is a nice alternative to go with one person or a group.
Fantastic beers, great setting and outdoor area. Super clean and almost everything in the gift shop is made in the USA.
We had the privilege of having a guided tour of this new brewery the other day, including samples of their fine craft beers at the end. The brewery offers live music on their extensive patio during the weekend; multitudes of seating choices as well as lawn seating around the pond are available. While there is no food service on the property, they don't mind you brining in your own picnic, or having food delivered to you on site. Met the owners and they are wonderful people, who care seriously about their craft. We highly recommend a stop and a sample; if you're a fan of beer, you'll love this place!
If you're visiting Wisconsin, you are pretty much obligated to go to a brewery, so we chose this one out of the many for no particular reason. It was great! It just opened in November 2013, so it's got beautiful, sparkling facilities. Many of the ingredients and machinery are local. The beer selection is varied and delicious. There is also a bar and seating area outside, with a nice view of a nearby pond. They apparently also have live music on Fridays and a bunch of other activities. There is no food but that didn't bother us. Check it out!
Beautiful brewery with exceptional micro brews! Stopped in with a party of 5 and took the brewery tour. The tour was short, as everything was housed in one warehouse, but impressive. They really know their beer here! The facilities were spotless and state of the art. Service was also exceptional with friendly, knowledgeable staff. They also keep it local! I would guesstimate that over 95% of the ingredients, machinery, and labor is from WI! (Apparently, they don't make kegs in the US.) They have an impressive business plan and I can't wait to go back once the beer garden in open!Sadly, they do not to have food. We would have stayed the entire night had there been something to eat. I will have to go back. Their coffee porter was outstanding and I need a growler!
