The Great House was recommended to us by a local. The location is in the country. The Great House is warm and inviting. We had dinner on seafood night. I had Maryland crab with scalloped potatoes and beans. Portions were just right and dessert was a delicious chocolate mousse cake. If I am ever down this way again, I will certainly be back.

Friendly staff, attentive service, reasonable value. A second Chester County place that doesn't know how to prepare chicken picatta or in the other case, marsala. Baked chicken breast with an opaque sauce is not chicken picatta. BBQ combo was good. Ribs flavorful and tender. Chicken breast slightly overcooked, but okay. Tavern quality wine list.Nice setting with view of golf course. Live music in adjoining bar was entertaining and not too loud.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Loch Nairn. Our experience was excellent! Guests raved about the lamb chops, cheese steak sliders and crab stuffed mushroom cap appetizers; the entrees chicken Madeira and the petite filet/crab cake were top restaurant quality. Simply said the entrees did not feel mass produced, "banquet style" which one so often receives at weddings, etc. The staff was very attentive and a big thank you to Barbara Barnes for coordinating our event. Our special day was made "very special" at Loch Nairn. We highly recommend this venue for your wedding or special event!

Incredibly disappointed to inform that the course (professional - not sure about that) refused to let my almost 6 yr old son ride in the golf cart with us.

We visited The Farmhouse restaurant ( as opposed to the Great House). The service was quietly attentive. Everyone ordered the surf and turf (which includes their famous crab cake). All the steaks were cooked perfectly as ordered. The crab cakes live up to their reputation.

Value for money course - not spectacular but worth a visit. Bar and Restaurant facilities are excellent.

I had an anniversary dinner at the farmhouse with my wife and two other guests. The environment was beautifully decorated and relaxing, a place you can enjoy your the time with your guests. A place where you can talk and not be required to yell to be heard. The service was as good as I have had an any five start hotel. Our server Carla was fun, witty and on top of every detail. She had excellent suggestion for Wine choices. After looking at the menu everyone had chosen what sounded like the perfect choice. All to be dashed when Carla delivered the specials of the evening. Well everyone changed their mines. I have the surf & Turf of Carb cakes and Bison Tenderloin. The food was remarkable, with the crab cakes as good as any I have eaten. The Bison was done just as I had requested. the Farmhouse was an outstanding choice for Our anniversary dinner.

Great course....very nice people.....semi-female friendly....the price is right especially if you use a TEE-Time book. Service at the bar/patio is iffy to say the least....but if you order Nachos....wow....be prepared to eat, and eat.....If you want a fantastic CRAB CAKE....make reservations for the "Farm House' Restaurant....you won't be disappointed.
