I have been enjoying Victory Brewing in Downingtown for many years. A lot of changes have occurred, but the ownership is obviously very concerned about the beer and food they serve. They also great partners with the community which to me is very important. If I had to say one bad thing, it's that I believe as they have gotten larger they have lost some of the personal touch. The food seemed to be better when they were smaller, but nothing beats success, and this restaurant is crowded almost every night and if you never had their beer, it's time for a road trip. Also very kid friendly.

Always a great selection of brews and decent food also. Had their wings which are large and crispy, and burger which was decent. Great atmosphere even when packed.

After travelling well out of our way to experience the home of one of our favorite brews (Victory 12), we were disappointed to find it was not on tap. Sampled quite a few others but found only one we liked. Terribly crowded with locals who seem to get preferential treatment. Did not stay for dinner but did make a few purchases at the on premise store.

As far as Victory is from an attraction standpoint it's a little disappointing. We wanted to go see a brewery, which we did., tour was about 20 minutes. The tour guide was good had a lot of information and definitely enjoyed doing it. The hops cooler was the highlight, but we've never been on a brewery tour that didn't give at least one sample. You can get samples from the bar to discover your favorite so that's what we did. It's more of a restaurant brewery but we'll be back...maybe this weekend!

WE love Victory and are so happy to see they're expanding across the county. The beer is terrific the food is really great. Get the wings and the root beer ribs, and pizzas. Great little arcade keeps the kids busy while you enjoy the tasty treats.

If you have interest in bbq, this is the event for you. This year it was held at Paradise Farm Camp in Unionville. The event featured a BBQ competition where you can walk around the competitors, talk to them, and watch them grill. Various meat categories were judged by KCBS certified bbq judges then afterward, everyone got to see the awards ceremony and meet the winners. Great music. A few local restaurants were set up to give taste samples to you....then you vote for which was best and the winner was announced later in the day. So if you want a fun day out in the open air, music, food, fun....watch for this event for next year!

Large restaurant and bar area that seats close to to 300 people I believe. The service is good and attentive and I've never had complaints about the food. Newer to their beer list, within the past year, is Dirtwolf (a double ipa) which is downright tasty. They had taken away the free tours, but due to the opening of a new brewery (soon to be brewpub) in Coatesville they are able to offer free tours again. Always fun to hear the history of the brewery and the beer making process one more time.

Just the best brewery I've ever visited. Excellent staff, food and of course the beer. Their attention to detail is second to none, and it shows in the flavour of the beer. Can't wait to go back when I have a good excuse!

Had to go here while I was in town. One of the coolest brewpubs I've ever been to. Actual brew kettles act as umbrellas over booths, tons of signage and tapestry with their brews on them. Lots of beers on tap and the food was very good as well. They also have an awesome store with tons of victory memorabilia which I brought home a bunch. Go here!

Enjoyed a great meal here on a date night recently. We both had burgers and sweet potato fries - delish. It's a good spot for a date night but it's definitely family friendly as well. Fun atmosphere and good service. Clean bathrooms, yay!

Great BEER of course and (soft pretzels are the perfect filler). But to many beers to start. but try some mixers light Mad MOnkey (golden monkey and something else ) or dark devil (storm king and hop devil) I live the silverback (monkey and hop devil) hand pump beers are awesome. fill a growler. cant wait for new restaurant to open in Parkerburg. Always a GREAT sponsor of local 5k races. they do an awesome job with that. food is also good. try it all - fish taco Mondays....the best.

I was a big fan of DeGroens beer in Baltimore years ago before they closed shop, so naturally I'm a fan of Victory since they're the same style and they have linked history. I wanted to visit Victory for a few years and I finally decided to visit last weekend. I live a little over two hours away so we booked a hotel. We arrived at the brew pub around 6:00 by cab and it was already packed. We got lucky enough to grab a couple bar seats and vegged there for a little over 4 hours. I loved trying beers you can't find in the store such as the Zeltbier, the few bocks and the hand pump Hop Devil. I suggest ordering the 5 beer sampler to start. As far as food we kept it simple. Wife and I split a pizza and the other two ordered burgers. We weren't there for the food. The food we did have was simple but good. Bartenders were great and busy all night long. I wish the brew pub was closer. I'm sure I'll visit again.

Victory has good food and a great variety of beers. It is definitely worth going. My only suggestion is that you consider when to visit. It can get very noisy on weekend evenings. If you like that kind of atmosphere then go for it. If you want to have good conversation then go early or during the week.

I finally got to Victory, after all these years. A high school friend and I split the trip to visit each other in half and Victory was the halfway point. I will say up front that the beers were great and there was a very good selection. That's where my love of the place started and ended. The facility itself is large (as are others...like Troeg's) but it felt disjointed with the many rather separate seating areas and many small tables. Also, there were huge TV screens with football on. Every now and then the room would erupt in a loud response to something on the screen. I feel like the TV screens take Victory out of the brew pub category and into the sports bar with good beer category. The food was mostly regular bar fare. We did have a good plate of baba ganoush, but otherwise, none of the offerings (or passing plates) sparked us to order. The service was marginal. We sat at the bar. It was not busy. We were not greeted. We had to ask for water and to have our water refilled. When we asked about the beers, we were handed a printed list. When we asked something about one of the beers, the server repeated what was on the sheet. We were served by 3 different people and none of them were engaged or engaging. We had to ask for beers when we wanted them and we had to ask (after about 20 min) for our food dishes to be cleared...also had to ask for silverware, which was missed when our food arrived. All in all, not a good experience. Had it not been a Sunday and not much else was going on, we probably would have looked for another place to go. It was a convenient place to meet my friend, but the place added nothing. We could have taken a cooler of their beer to a park and had a much better time.

I was in town for my son's youth soccer tournament. After a great match, the boys went home with Mom, and I took a pal/dad to the brewery. I'm not a huge fan of American Micro-brews, preferring the less-hoppy, German pils side of things. I knew from experience that Victory does everything very well, and their Prima Pils, though a bit hoppy for my tastes, is immediately recognizable as super high quality. The place is hidden on the backside of town, so I was surprised to find the parking lot full and lots of activity going on. Exiting the car, I was greeted with a delicious, bready smell. Entering the warehouse-looking building, I was amazed to see a warm, friendly atmosphere. The place is big, but inviting, with booths made to resemble some brewing kettle-style, and a long bar. The growlers were beautiful, and there were more new and exciting brews on tap then I could work my way through. The German varieties were exceptional, and the staff was friendly and attentive. I will definitely return next year, when soccer brings me back to town. Highly recommended!!!
