Lot of choices on the buffet, very clean, well stocked. Food was really good, the desserts were awesome. Nice staff and good service

Gambling was about the same as it is in all casino's, The food court was nice. You didn't feel like you were in a food court. If you go there, eat the pizza. It is fabulous. The bakery is good too. The machines were all working and the establishment was very clean.

We love going to Hollywood Casino, but have been very disappointed in pay-outs lately. We used to be able to go here and play for hours with less money a couple of years ago than we can now.

Went in with not exactly lots of money, but left down $200 - in only about a one hour span. Craps table was not kind to us, and we couldn't breathe due to the smokiness in the casino. Free drinks were nice, but did certainly not make up for the amount lost in gambling money which was a lot for betting basically just the table minimum. Went to the bar and bought some drinks, which were tasty and were served by a friendly bartender which made the experience not as bad overall.

lost alot of money, but won some back ups and downs as it goes.but you will have fun just drink the free drinks so you dont mind the loses as much. live band was amazing as well

This place is the biggest waste of my time. I will never make the same mistake again in my life. Place is literally a dirty whole in the wall

I just got back from visiting the Hollywood Casino in Grantville, PA with my wife. We traveled from our home in Stafford, VA to Harrisburg PA to go to the Great American Outdoor Show at the Farm Show Complex, and afterwards we went to the casino in Grantville. It was only a twenty mile trip from Harrisburg, but because of rush hour traffic, it took us about an hour to get there. This was the third time we have come to this casino, and I really like the feel of this place. It's a non-smoking casino. It's very pretty on the inside. It has a lot of slot machines and a horse racing track. It's very similar to Hollywood casino in Charlestown, WVA, but it has a different feel about it. I didn't come out ahead on this visit, but the first two times I played here, I left a winner. My wife left a winner the past two time she played here. The casino is in a pretty place and the drive there is beautiful. I would avoid coming through Harrisburg during times when they would be having their rush hour, but otherwise the trip is very nice. It took a little over three hours to get back to our home in Stafford, VA. You can use that as a guide if you live anywhere in Northern VA. I have not eaten at the restaurants here, so I can't comment on them. If you are looking at another choice of casinos, give this one a try. I think you will have fun.

Did pretty good on the slots, had fun with family. Played some horses too. I have eaten at the Sportsbar upstairs and the food was always good.

We decided to run down for a couple of hours on Saturday morning. We should have stayed home, the slots are very tight. Nothing like blowing 20 bucks in less than 5 minutes!!!! At least at Mohegan Sun you can play on 20 bucks for awhile. I have to agree with others the smoke hits you in many locations of the casino, not just in the smoking areas. Now I remember why we quit going down about a year ago.

Nice casino with large parking garage. Many machines and table games to play without waiting. Drinks were reasonably priced.

15 of my friends went to HC for a night of drinking a fun . The night started out great we had a couple of beers and watched the horses race . After we went down to the casino to listen to the band . Place was a total ashtray . My wove was harassed by security because they said she was acting drunk . She had 2 beers at the track and was in no way drunk . She was trying to have fun but security was a buzz kill . Will not return .

Nice casino, but can't help but feel like crap the next day because of all the smoking. Doesn't matter where you are in the casino, the place clearly caters to the smoking community. Obviously management is too scared to put their foot down, but it's not that difficult to have outside smoking sections.

Casino is set up nicely. Areas were clean. Restrooms neat and supplied. Good selection of slots. Even a directory to locate your favorite one. Drink servers always there plus 2 drink stations to serve yourself. Machines clean and very noisy. Saw some good pay outs. I'm a no smoker and this can be an issue with me .(although not too bad this visit) I will return.

As another reviewer indicated, this place has way too many smoking areas and not enough non-smoking. Even in the non-smoking you deal with the smoke. Have seen many new machines but the locals come early and you can't get to them. Maybe more machines would be good. Restaurant upstairs in the sports bar is the best place to eat, the others are pricey. The day we were there the buffet was $26.99, not worth it. It is clean and bright.

We have been going here for years now, since it has opened. There are way too many penny and $1 slots & not nearly enough quarter and fun slots. None of them pay out and the crowd has gotten really scary. The air quality is horrendous! I couldn't determine what were non-smoking machines and what were. My eyes instantly burned when I walked in there from all the smoke. Non smokers should not have to walk through smoking sections just to try to avoid it!
