The Little Theatre of Wilkes-Barre is a community theater founded in 1923. It is one of the oldest continually operating theater groups in America. This is an all-volunteer group dedicated to bringing the best of Broadway to the stage of Wilkes-Barre. The group offers live musicals, comedies and dramas performed by local talent guaranteed to wow. The venue was once a movie theatre, so it's the perfect place to enjoy a play. There is a concession area (no alcohol served) and a large lobby for intermission, the show stars are all highlighted in the art deco marquees. The parking is limited to street parking, so be sure to carefully observe the signs to be sure you are not parking in a restricted area. Tickets can be purchased in advance on line at www.ltwb.org.
