We are sweet & fruity wine drinkers & we llove their wine. Their free, self-serve wine tastings are unique & visitor friendly. We look forward to our next visit to this rustic winery.

This place is a waste of time.If you are having a fun day, as we were(x18)of us came in a limo bus and regrettably included this winery as one of our stops. We were treated extremely rude.Wineries are supposed to be fun..not this one! This winery is also dirty and not worth the time!time!

Decided to try something new in the aspect of wines and decided to try out Heritage. Walked into an awful experience. My fiancé wanted to try a specific wine and when I asked where I might find that wine, I was told "their in alphabetic order". There was another group of people there, that was obviously more important than I was, because one out of the two girls was not enough to help them, so when I asked again, pure attitude came back at me. I have never been to this cellar so I didn't know what the protacal was. My fiancé was in pure disappointment when we were told that if we didn't like it, then there's the door. My daughter graduated today from college and this was the reason we were in the northeast area, this absolutely ruined my day because those two women were more interested in helping another group of people than making any other sales for thisbusiness. I really have to say out of all the wineries we have gone to in the past, this one was set up the best for taste testing but it was the employees that ruined it for me. Poor poor management to have ignorant employees working for you.Visited May 2014

My cousin and I viisted this winery the first week of Sept. When we pulled in and drove down a long driveway, we thought we were at someone's house and we were seriously waiting for someone to come out with a shotgun. There is a sign for additional parking in the back. That was even scarier. My cousin made a reference to the Texas Chainsaw Massacre...haha. Once inside, we were told that it was a self-serving winery and we could try any of the wines with no tasting fee. It is a small winery. The wines were okay. My favorite was the chocolate strawberry. It got very crowded in there very quickly and we ended up leaving without purchasing anything. I do not think I would go back. I would suggest a little upkeep to the building and adding some curb appeal. I could not imagine ever having an event there as it is now. I did go upstairs to use the ladies room, and there is a large room upstairs. With a little work, I am sure they could turn it into a quaint little winery.

Oh my, this was not good. Our entire day was spent touring wineries and by the time evening had come and we had toured 8 wineries and purchased 16 bottles of wine to take home, we knew it was time to leave. Our 7th stop was at Heritage Wine Cellar. The outside looked so neat but when we walked inside the bar was full of young people who had not come to sample good wines, but to drink. There is no charge for samples so these people were simply drinking. One picks their own sample and pours as many as they want, the bottles are sticky, disgusting and the wine is of pour quality. I am sorry for them

Heritage Wine Cellars is definitely a different experience. The tasting is free and there is a bar area about 8x8 in the one corner (tight space). All of the wines are along the bar with small tasters to pour a sample for yourself. I have been there a few times, if it's crowded it can be difficult to get in there for a tasting; you have to be patient, persistent, and polite. I've also been there with just a small crowd which is much better. Most of the staff is very knowledgable; I have even spoken to the head wine maker before! There are at least 40 varieties of wines (red, white, sparkling, specialties). There's something for everyone (especially if you like sweeter wines). We usually get 1/2 a case or so when we stop in. It is always on our winery tastings list!

We like to travel to wineries to find a bottle or two to add to our cellar. Heritage Winery is NOT one of those we would choose to ever visit again. It is crowded with young college age (or younger) people. We should have gotten a clue when 2 middle aged women were walking out saying "NOW that was different!"When we entered we were the oldest people there (we are in our 50s) and I swear most were under-age. The tasting bar is self serve with all of their wines lines up and open with little plastic cups. You pour your own and taste them. The "Staff" seems to know very little about the wines.Tasted a few but after touching the sticky bottles and bar top, we were more than ready to leave this disgusting place.I guess the hand sanitizer by the door should have been another clue.

Self serve tasting from about 40 different wines so you can definitely find one or 5 (in my case) which I bought right away.

Many bottles of sweet wines are lined up for you to taste on your own using a small plastic cup. The person behind the wine bar had little or no knowledge of the wines. She was on her phone and seemed disturbed when we attempted to ask about the wine. The bottles had dates on them and we told her one bottle had been opened two weeks...she opened another....sad part is, it tasted like the two week old one. We left!

I can't tell you anything about the wines, we didn't get a chance to try them. The tasting area was packed with a bunch of drunk girls, the line for the tastings was too long and it didn't look like they had enough staff available.
