Take the kayak and paddle all around or sit on the side and cast your reel. Love to take a picnic lunch and enjoy the sunshine. Fabulous activity for the family or just a couple.

This lake and the adjacent Lake Williams are very nice for getting back to nature. Summer hiking trails, non-gasoline boat motor launch with No launch permit required ( because it is a county park), picnicing etc make this location great. Lots of good restaurants nearby or go to a grocery store for a deli made sandwich! Also, bike and horse trails. Bald Eagles nest nearby!

If you like fishing, this is must go place here. Lovely and peaceful surroundings. You can sit and admire the nature, lovely lake. It is very neat and clean and nicely managed.

Great lake for Kayaking!! Saw Blue Herons & Eagles while on the lake with the kids and my wife. very calm lake for all ages.

Nice place to go boating or canoeing. Easy to launch a boat or canoe. Decent size lake (no gas powered motors) only electric. Fishing can be good.

There are several trails to walk, a bit hilly if you don't mind hills. And canoes and picnic areas for rent. Nice area for family reunions and get togethers.

They offer boat rental (paddle, canoe or Jon), but very pricey. They boat loading ramp. Depending on the season, you can fish for bass & crappies. Great walking and riding trails. They have picnic areas. They have events scheduled throughout the summer: star watching, nighttime canoe rides, etc

This was a lot of fun, even if I almost tipped the canoe over, my granddaughter and I wanted to do something different one Saturday so we grabbed a lunch, some thing to drink (soda) none alcohol area! and rented a canoe. What fun we had, but on a serious note, there were so many things to see, like a deer and birds of all sorts. Not very knowledgeable of species but there were lots, both on and off the water. We tired before our time was up, so you have lots of boating time to explore the area. Try it out, you may return. Thanks guys for all the tips on canoeing for beginners.

This little water supply lake provides hiking/horse trails, fishing with electric motor only, which makes it a quiet, and picturesque place to visit.

I love riding at Lake Redman. The trails are wide, shaded and well groomed. Parking for large trailers is a little rough but now bad with an average 2 or 3 horse pull behind. There are toilets at the boat launch and parking area. You can ride around the entire lake in 2 - 3 hours.

Nice spot to hike, a few trails with boating, horses, picnicking, fishing, etc.Some of the trails have become overgrown with an invasive weed/vine. Kind of close to Rt 83 which detracts somewhat from the experience.

Boating, hiking, picnicking are all wonderful in this quiet natural setting; find spot off the beaten path or choose one of the established areas for your family celebration. Boats are available for rent.

Went for a quick family picnic by the lake had a great time if you have a canoe bring one for the ride out into the lake. Don't get caught swimming though.

My wife and I brought a picnic lunch to Lake Redman and then rented a boat. It was a very enjoyable day that didn't cost a lot of money

Lake Redman is one of the more relaxing parks in York County. There are boats available to use for fishing or paddle boats if you just want to view the leaves changing in the fall. There are boat launch areas, picnic areas, and lots of spots to fish from shore around the entire lake.
