Frequently go to summer stock,as well as various concerts & shows. A beautifully, recently remodeled exterior with plans for interior remodeling.

Okay facility for a small town. Very expensive for the type of entertainment. Needs better seating and ventilation.

A great place for entertainment. Fantastic actors and actresses - the popcorn theatre is a great place to take your kids and expose them to the arts!

We attended the musical "A Chorus Line" produced by the summer theater group. This was our first time visiting and we enjoyed it very much. The Opera House has been under renovation for a number of years and there is still some work to be done, but is worth a visit just for the performance alone. I guess we were expecting a performance with just a few cast members, but this was just lovely. There is a small gift shop, but it was not open when we visited that floor. The renovation includes a very nice handicapped accessible entrance.

This is an old Opera House which has been all refurbished inside and outside. Great acoustics for concerts...have played many concerts there.

Tibbits Opera house is so unique.It has been in the restoration process for many years- almost finished.The summer stock programs are so professional - you will love them, especially the musicals.Year round the productions are well worth your money and time.

I always liked the Opera House before the renovations, but it is very nice now. New brickwork and an updated look make it feel a little fancier. The acoustics are good inside, and the balcony is the best seat in the house.

We have been here for numerous shows,concerts,plays. it is really a nice small comfortable little theatre. You will love it recently been restored to the way it was in the 1880's. Great people run this and for a small place really good shows. Do not missif you are near Coldwater!

The outside of the Opera House has been beautifully updated. However the carpeting is in desperate need or replacement. That is what they are working to get now. The summer playlist is always interesting. The actors are top quality. The quality of the plays and actors is really unusual for a small town. For the children, the popcorn theater is child oriented stories acted out. Stories the children may have read ie. Hansel and Gretel or other fairy tales. These are produced in the early afternoons. The admission fee is a nominal cost. The playlist is not the sole event in the Tibbits Opera House. There are concerts and local important events, too. Check with the Tibbits office before planning your trip there.

I have been going to Tibbits since I was a little girl. If you are in Coldwater on vacation, it's a must see! The plays are very good and the ambiance is great! I love the intimate setting.

This grand old landmark has now been completely refurbished. The outside displays the original looks to the windows and decor including the gold leaf trim. Plays and musicals are of high caliber. The plays are ongoing and excellently produced. The cost is nominal.....much less than the big city plays. A vacation bargain! Call ahead for the playlists and times. On some afternoons there are productions for young children in the popcorn theatre.....including the popcorn. Don't miss the opportunity to take in a show. Don't miss taking in the Tibbits.
