Lots of stuff going on here-indoor and outdoor gardens, trails, outdoor sculptures. Definitely something for everyone! We were a little underdressed to appreciate the outdoor sculptures as much, but we just walked quickly outside. Impressive horse sculpture too. Also hold outdoor concerts when it is warmer and it would make for an interesting venue,

this is a state of the art garden; indoor and out with a remarkable and extensive sculpture garden. Dont miss it.

Our family loves visiting the park. We've had an annual membership for 3 years now. We love visiting all year round for events, playing in the children's garden, and just enjoying the walking paths and nature. Thank you!

These are fantastic gardens. The also have many programs and great winter activities. They have concerts with good performers.

Delightful conservatory, gardens and outstanding sculpture. Many great art installations during the Oct. "Art Prize". The tram thru the property tours major sculpture by notable artists.

We regularly visit FMG and go with certain things planned. At Christmastime the interior is decorated with trees and other traditional icons from around the world. In April live butterflies inhabit the tropical garden which is great fun. During the warmer weather, the walking trails are amazing for art scholars and if you want to ride the tram, check the schedule and arrive early to purchase tickets. Most cultured people love this place, but if you're looking for entertainment other than concerts ,this may not be the place for you.

My husband and I received a membership as a gift. Our first experience at Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park was the Butterfly exhibit. I can't even explain how amazing it was. I thought we were going to see them behind glass, but we got to go inside the exhibit and walk around with them. There were hundreds of beautiful butterflies in so many different colors, flying around and landing on people. Don't miss out on this exhibit. We will definitely be renewing our membership as there are many great things to explore.

I went to see the Christmas trees. Each tree was decorated with customs from a different country. It was a great way to spend a few hours. I think I could have spent the entire day. I will be back for sure.

I have taken all my out-of-town guests to Meijer Gardens. It's one of my favorite places. It delights the senses of both children and adults. A vast pallet of colors tease each of one's senses with the changing of the seasons. There is something magical about each part of the gardens. The special exhibits are lush with inspiration and design. I am excitedly awaiting the opening of the Japanese sunken gardens addition opening in June 2015. I silently thank Mr. & Mrs. Meijer for the "eye candy" they have given Grand Rapids and me. Plan to spend all day, take the tram ride, visit Lena's farm home, see the amazing Di Vinci horse, wander through the classic garden, watch the children gleefully play in the water in the children's garden, mosey down the hanging boardwalk, smell the flowers, listen to the birds, enjoy the great outdoors in a safely enclosed area and so much more. There is something for the whole family.

My wife and i have been members for several years. Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park consistently provides high quality exhibits, programs, speakers, live entertainment in a beautiful setting. It has something for the entire family. We are very blessed to have this wonderful organization in the Grand Rapids/ West Michigan community.

We spent time in the children's garden. It was amazing. Tons of interactive activities, water fun, an amazing tree house, a sand pit to dig for dino bones and so much more. Very informational plaques and hosts who are able to answer questions. Bathroom facilities available. Being outside is so much more relaxing with young kids. The beauty is ever changing depending on the season in Michigan.

Beautifully laid out acreage, especially the butterfly exhibit in the spring is a must see! Reasonable pricing, cafeteria is good. Go seasonally for different exhibits.
