gatherings - antiques, folk art & more

We are local, and took a visiting friend there--my first time there. The owner was loudly yelling out her rules as you entered---"No photos" along with other rules. I understand she has a lot of unique items with sayings on them that she does not want people to copy, but it was a rude way to get her message out. Have not been back.

Dispite the other reviews, my family and I found the owner quite rude. Upon entering she immediately told us we could under no circumstances have our cell phones visible. Apparently this was so we didn't photograph the "art" or steal ideas? I say art loosely because I didn't see one original piece (just knock-offs of your everyday craft show items). Very few antiques, if any. As an artist, consumer, and avid antique collector, this was very off putting and ruined what little ambiance there was. We will not return.

Love his place, the nicest people you have ever met. Every time I stop by, I find exciting new items.

A wonderful small town art fair! Wonderful variety, art, photography, jewelry, yard craft, etc. FUN!

The woman who runs this shop was very nice, so I feel bad giving a negative review. But I would not really call this an antique shop. There were some items in the store that I believe fit into that category, but overall it was more... like a garage sale.

We stopped in at Gatherings and really enjoyed walking through the area. Antiques were nicely presented and reasonably priced.
